Just wrapping up now. This place surprised me when we walked in. I was expecting a low class, grease shop kind of Italian pizza place. You walk into a much nicer environment with granite counter tops at the bar, nixe tables and quiet music. We are sitting at the bar and the bartender, Leah, is a fiery red head that has witty sarcastic responses to my witty sarcastic charm. The service was fast and very friendly! The food is good. We both ordered personal pizzas, and they aren’t the best pizzas in the world, but they are definitely better than the other options in the area. Their mixed drinks are also not lacking any alcohol… one, two, three, floor. Wouldn’t take much! All n’ all, I will be a repeat customer. Looking forward to coming back.

We went to pizza co last night my daughter and myself and I will share the following details of our visit… First of all I would like to say the food and service used to be excellent only a few short years ago. But now leaves much to be desired. We start out our experience by being seated at a 2 top table although there were many empty four tops around us, I asked if we should sit at a four top and was told we couldn’t because on Friday and Saturdays it’s a policy that parties of 2 seat at a 2 top table. I accepted that answer even thought I wondered how we would fit a pizza and a dinner on the table to eat. We ordered a large cheese pizza, chicken parm with the né clam chowder. The chowder arrived barely warm, it was very salty and had carrots in it with hardly any clams. The pizza also just warm was thick and dry. The chicken parm was not hot enough too and the chicken was thick(not pounded out thin like it’s supposed to be). Oh I forgot to mention that five minutes after we were seated a gentleman and his daughter asked to sit at a 4 top and they were told they could. Needless to say we won’t be returning.

So most of the bad reviews seem to be based on their customer service, which I totally disagree with. I’ve ordered takeout from here a few times now. I like the fact that their takeout window is separate from the restaurant. Every time I go here, they give free homemade rolls and oil with the takeout. I don’t know if this is something they do usually or as a courtesy but the rolls are so good! The pizza is very good, brick-oven style and a variety of Italian style toppings. All the toppings taste and look fresh. I have never actually eaten in the restaurant so I can’t speak to that but I’ve always had great food!

Good food, we had pasta and pizza & enjoyed both. Restaurant was a bit loud, and the waitress could have been better though.

Nice place to go prior to the movie theater, which is right around the corner. The food is good although a bit expensive for what you get. If not for movie theater we might go only once a year but we go much more often since it is so convenient. Location, Location! They should try to work a package deal with Cinemagic to encourage dinner and movie — perhaps on slow nights like Sunday-Tuesday.

I have no idea why 2.5 stars. This placd has really great food and service! Tammie in the bar makes the best martinis, and gives the best service! You have to try the rigatoni with vodka sauce, add grilled chicken if you want, it is really great too. If they have the tortellini soup it is just great, with so much you’ll have leftovers for lunch. Dessert, get the profiteroles, really great!

I’d like to share my experience at Pizzico from last night. My friends/coworkers and I went in for happy hour and a few appetizers. Happy hour ends at 6 and we were trying to get out bartenders attention starting at around 5:40, even made eye contact with a wave and still he did not come over. Finally, at 5:55, our bartender came over and as we asked for 2 drinks along with ordering a couple appetizers to go, we were instantly shot down. We were told the computer already says 6:00 so it’s too late for happy hour. Then, he said that appetizers during happy hour can never be taken to-go even though I told him I’ve taken them to go before. I showed him my iPhone as well as the menu that says happy hour is until 6 yet he repeated himself that it’s too late the computers already have 6:00. We requested the manager, when the bartender returned he says that he talked to the manager and he will grant out two drinks at happy hour pricing but will ring them up under«miscellaneous» and be also said his manager is very upset that someone gave me appetizers to go they they should have never done that. The manager never came out to talk to us and we were made to feel like we were the ones who had done something wrong. This was one of the worst customer service experiences the group of us have ever had and we will need to start looking for a new place to go after work.

I would definitely recommend their pizza(any of them, we love the Pizzico Pizza) as an affordable dinner! Their dining options can get a bit pricey, but the food is still awesome! Huge, rich portions and good service!

My wife and I visit Pizzico at least once a week. The food is always very good, from the bruschetta pompei and Mediterranean skewers for appetizers to the great panini sandwiches and the entrees. One of our very favorites is the portobello mushroom pizza. They sauté’ the mushrooms and the taste is amazing! And the service is the best. Everyone is so friendly and attentive — we are always very happy with the way we have been treated. And Tammy — the skinny bitch bartender is absolutely the BEST!

Server was prompt and efficient. Reasonably priced, big portions. Atmosphere was warm and inviting. The only misstep was we weren’t offered dessert or coffee. I would go back.

New Bartender tonight, should’ve gotten her name but didn’t. She had too many friends at the bar that occupied her time. She took a break after we asked her for the check and had to wait after her break. She took 2 other breaks while we were there hob nobbing with her friends. The pizza and fried mozzarella were really good but the service was crazy slow and you don’t take a break and disappear when somebody asks for a check.

They allow dogs on the patio! Great service, good food and they brought a container of water for our dogs! Will definitely be coming back.

Decent Italian food but nothing special. The best reason to go to Pizzico are the massive martinis at Happy Hour, basically fishbowl-sized drinks made from their house vodka but pretty good. If you can get two down then nosh on the appetizers(better than the main menu) for while until you sober up — portion sizes are generous and salads are impressive. The pizza is actually quite good as well, and the staff work very hard and are attentive. Think of this as a two-star review for the main menu, but the happy hour service and appetizers/salads brings it up to a three.

Absolutely flavorless meal. I had Osso Bucco special. The meat was a small boiled flavorless with awful sauce. I left so hungry I ordered a pizza to go. That also was flavorless. No spices at all.

We came for lunch on Sunday around 2:00. Not very busy great martini menu although we didn’t have any. We got the lobster ravioli and salad. I thought it was a fair price for the portions and quality.

Terrible food and terrible service on a weeknight. The veal was too tough to cut, and my wife’s pizza was under done AND burnt. The final nail was the fact that the waitress was apparently too busy to be attentive. We’ll never be back.
