Cotreau’s Landscaping

These guys are crooks. I hired them to do a fall cleanup at my home once after getting an estimate. On the day of service, I had to leave and would not be home until after they were done. They had finished my back yard and were about to start on the front yard. So, I paid the other 50% that was due upon completion at that time with a check. The owner himself and 3 employees were doing the work. My neighbor was outside at the time, and he told me the next day that as soon as I left they gathered their materials and took off.
When I came home that evening I discovered my front yard was not even touched. I called and the owner answered and assured me that the truck was full of leaves so they had to leave but would be back first thing in the morning. Well guess what? They never came back, and my check was cashed that day i gave it to them. They literally went immediatly to the bank and cashed it. I called for two weeks and got no response. Finally, i left a message with the andwering service that I would be going to his home and not leaving and calling police if my yard was not done the next day. Bingo, my yard was done. I also heard they screwed a local supply house out of thousands of dollars with unpaid bills.
