Excellent coffee and baked goods, plus tasty breakfast options. For lunch this place is also great, with daily specials, salad, sushi, and sandwiches pressed when ordered. Great spot!

This new Bakery & Café is great. Breakfast food, a variety of coffee’s, tea’s, and a variety of sandwiches. I’m excited to go back there and it was a great time. Grab a coffee and head upstairs to the area with lots of windows, tables & chairs. If there’s a few tables with people it gets kinda noisy up there, but if its just you & a friend you’ll be OK. You’ll like it!

I have been in for a few occasions and I was never really impressed. The breakfast sandwich and breakfast pizza were not that good. Coffee was mediocre. The pastries are pricy for not being that special. And most pastries they wouldn’t sell in half a dozen or even a dozen for a discounted price except for cookies or something. Pastries were good, but just not special.

The selection is really lacking compared to Swan that used to be here. I stopped by to grab a few eclairs and cookies. Needless to say, the éclair cream was not good at all. It didn’t taste like traditional éclair cream. The cookies were ok, but nothing I couldn’t make at home. I do like what they’ve done with the décor and staff was very friendly but I don’t know if I will frequent it again.

We live in Merrimack and have visited here a couple of times. While the deserts and coffee are very good, the sandwiches and lunch items leave quite a bit to be desired. Very bland and not that great… which is surprising to us because we love their restaurant next door quite a bit(and have reservations there next week in fact) and the quality of food has always been great next door.

Great spot. I was traveling back east from PDX/Ashland for family and staying in Merrimack area. I’m so glad this place is there. There was always ample seating upstairs and a warm fireplace. I was able tog et work done while sipping my mocha or americana, both made perfectly. I also had their cold brew coffee which is on par with some of my favorite call brew,(Case Coffee in Ashland, OR). I had the bacon egg and cheese sandwich, two days in a row, because it was tasty and satisfying and all I needed. I wish I had tried more but time wouldn’t allow it. It was a short trip. I will certainly be back on my next visit, especially considering the welcoming and friendly staff.

Had breakfast with friends this morning at BBC. All of had the breakfast special– sandwich(muffin, egg, tomato, spinach)) with a free coffee for 3.80 each!!! Very delicious sandwich and coffee. Friends also complimented food and reasonable prices. We sat upstairs by the cozy fireplace. We bought cinnamon buns for the road. Location not the best, but that is Merrimack, however the food is worth the drive– not too far from the Merrimack outlets, too. Go there, eat, have coffee, get a loaf of bread or pastry to go– you’ll be very pleased.

Went to the café to get some treats, since I had heard such raving reviews from friends. I got the white chocolate crème brûlée, lemon tart, chocolate mousse and whoopie pies. The crème brûlée custard was delicious. The ¼ thick sugar coating on the top was unappealing and inedible. Traditionally crème brûlée has a very thin sugar coating. This was more like a lollipop. Just no. The lemon tart had dark chocolate smeared in the bottom of the pie crust. It was almost like it was a mistake and someone tried wiping it out, but didn’t get it all. There was nothing special about the tart. Tasted sort of fake. The chocolate mousse was yummy. A bit frosting like, but still very good. It was served in a chocolate cup. That was a nice touch. The whoopie pies were delicious. They had a cream cheese filling, and the cake was super chocolatey and moist. We got two of everything listed and it was just under $ 20.00. Not expensive but still not worth a trip out. If I was in the area I’d give them another try.

In the area to run an errand and my friend’s co-worker lives in Merrimack and suggested this bakery as one with gluten free baked goods(she’s GF). We walked in about 20 minutes before closing and it was quite busy … About 4 – 5 Merrimack first responders getting coffee and snacks«to go» as well as others getting baked goods«to go». We decided on four baked goods: the chocolate mousse cup, a chocolate dipped macaroon and an almond macaroon. We also asked to have a GF blueberry muffin heated and the young lady behind the counter was more than happy to do so. We also each ordered a medium chai tea latte with almond milk. There were two young ladies behind the counter and a gentleman. The young ladies were very helpful and cheerful but the gentleman appeared to be ready to close and somewhat unhappy that people were still coming in. It was unclear where and how we would receive what we ordered so we proceeded to the register to pay. We repeated our order to the gentleman who rung us up and we paid(around $ 15) then we stepped away from the register so others behind us could pay. No one acknowledged that we didn’t receive anything we paid for so we hung around the bakery case until we saw our drinks being made. The young lady who took our order gave us our drinks in a «to go» cup after confirming we had paid then said nothing about our baked goods. We went back to the register and didn’t see anything there. Then went back to the young lady who was then helping someone else and signaled we didn’t have our baked goods. She handed us a bag which I took down to our table then realized it only contained 3 of the 4 items … No warm GF muffin. I went back and asked and she looked somewhat confused with the whereabouts of the muffin, gave me the«wait a minute» signal so I went back to our table since we only had about 10 minutes before closing. She did bring the muffin to our table and apologized for the confusion. We finished 2 of our 4 desserts and took the rest to go as we felt we were no longer welcomed since it was getting close to closing. Chocolate mousse was light and not too sweet, macaroons(GF according to the young lady) were chewy and not too sweet, the GF muffin was excellent. Chai tea latte’s were not overly spicy or sweet. Glad we stopped, thumbs up on the baked goods and tea as well as the friendly service from the young lady but the gentleman should appear more appreciate of his customers… even if it’s close to closing.

The food is very good but much too expensive in my opinion. $ 8 for a chicken salad sandwich with no chips or side?!

I have been here twice now. Once on a busy Sunday morning, and another around 1pm on a weekday. Both visits were fantastic! Typical of all of Michael Buckley’s establishments, the service is five star and the food and beverages are all handmade and seriously delicious. Their caramel latte is perfect, not overly sweet, perfect amount of foam and steamed milk and super fresh expresso(not burnt tasting like some big chains!). I also tried the apricot scone, cinnamon roll, and seriously the Best Chocolate Chip Cookie of My Life(it deserves capital letters!). The cookie was large, thin, and crisp on the edges and soft in the middle with semi-sweet chocolate chunks. And to top it all off, the prices are very reasonable, in fact I would say it’s almost a bargain for the quality of what you’re getting! The also offer sandwiches, soup, pizza, and even wine and beer, and a HUGE selection of pastries, pies, cakes, macaroons, etc. This is one bakery café that you really do not want to miss if you are in the area(or even make a special trip!)

A friend and I wanted to meet for coffee and she suggested Buckley’s and I’m glad she did! It was mid-afternoon and I hadn’t had any lunch so I was looking at their paninis. I was torn between the tuna and the vegetarian and the guy behind the counter told me to get the vegetarian, said it was really good and he was a vegetarian! He was right it was delicious! My friend had the chocolate mousse and brought home a macaroon for her husband, I brought home a ding dong for my husband — they both loved their goodies! We stopped by today for a cup of coffee and a sweetie after seeing Star Wars and again was not disappointed! We had regular coffee and hubs got the ding dong again(creature of habit!) and I got the whoppie pie. Delicious! I will say that I expected the ding dong to have a filling similar to the whoppie pie and not whipped cream but that being said, it’s still really good! The coffee is a little on the pricey side(IMHO) but the sandwiches, soups and sweeties are all nicely priced! Both times we sat upstairs in the comfy chairs and had a relaxing time. I’ll be back again!

Another great place from the Buckley’s. My husband and I went in the other morning to check out the bakery. We walked in and right away said«wow this is nice». We checked out the cases and everything looks fresh and delish. Very clean, tastefully decorated. We decided on a chocolate croissant and a ham and cheese croissant. One sweet and one savory. We split each and was very pleased, flakey and tender, and the chocolate was really good! We helped our selfs to the coffee urn and found it to be fresh and piping hot. It was great coffee, I’ll be stopping in here for my coffee rather than a drive thru. We will be back for certain.

Huge fan of Buckleys steakhouse and their new bakery is just as good! The apricot scones were warm and tasted like fresh apricots. The pecan rolls I brought home to my husband were delicious. And the lemon tart, chocolate cake, and eclaires I brought to my family got rave reviews! The prices were very reasonable. I can’t wait to go back!
