Stopped in today as we have before for breakfast after an appointment out that way. Both of us ordered from the senior menu; I the biscuits and gravy and my husband another choice. When the food arrived, I took one taste of the gravy and immediately felt something was off. I asked my husband to taste it, and he said it tasted like vinegar had been dumped generously into it. I tried seasoning it, but nothing helped, so I finally called the server over. She asked her boss to taste the gravy in the kitchen, then came out, whisked my plate away and asked if I wanted anything else. At this point, my husband was finished eating, so I just ordered toast, which arrived promptly. Later as I was finishing my toast(and the original entrée and the toast were adjusted off the check), the server confided that the entire batch of gravy was spoiled. Doesn’t anyone there taste what they’re serving? I won’t be back; I was horrified.

Round the clock usually never lets me down for a simple yet delightful meal. Unfortunately this time was a tragedy! Service was so slow I could have honestly west to the store, cooked myself and my 4 other guests breakfast, cleaned up and start a film all in the time it took for any food to reach the table(90) minutes. Then, when the food arrived, it was room temperature. My poached eggs were hard boiled, the potatoes uncooked, and yes ladies and gentlemen I was served molded bread. I like the other round the clocks, just avoid this one!

I wouldn’t take my dog to this place. Please not I didn’t refer to it as a restaurant. I ordered the pork chop breakfast. The pork chops were so fat my cholesterol raised 10 points just looking at them. The hash-brown, potatoes were yesterday’s baked potatoes that were sliced and warmed over. The pancakes I received were so thin and little I felt as though I belonged in a high chair. It obvious to me this establishment is waining.

Typical Greek breakfast. Food was hot, waitress was nice and coffee was GOOD. The corned beef on the skillet was a but skimpy but very tasty. Love the fake flowers. The prices are similar to others of it’s kind. I’d go back.

I came here initially wanting some breakfast food for dinner. Yes, I could have had the ham and vegetable skillet but when I saw a lamb dinner on the special daily that was just $ 9 and included soup and dessert I had to try it. The lamb was a bit fatty but the meal I received was well worth $ 9 for sure. Others at the table ordered lasagna that was fresh tasting and had plenty of sauce and melted cheese. We also ordered a BLT Club that was packed very full of bacon. The most bacon I’ve ever seen on one sandwich. Our waitress was super friendly and kept drinks refilled and checked on us often to ensure all was well. The restaurant was quite clean and even though the carpet was a bit worn and the restroom could use some updating it was clear they take care of the facility. There were newly planted pansies outside and that shows great attention to detail since they are only in the ground for about 8 weeks before summer flowers are planted. Good food, people, facility, and great prices. I’m sure we’ll be back when we pass by the next time.

We went here looking for Saganaki which they didn’t have… that being said, my wife’s club sandwich was great, my french dip was awesome, my son’s burger(2.90 for burger, fries, drink, and desert for a kids meal!!!) was good. Really good lemon rice soup… this place is excellent!!! our service was outstanding, the food was great, and the value for the money was unheard of… we will be back everytime we are back in town

Needed to take a morning road trip to the Crown Point area, and poked Unilocal for a breakfast recommendation. «Round the Clock» is a small regional chain, and generally my observation is that it’s hard to ruin eggs. Arrived at about 9:15am to find the restaurant only moderately busy, so we were seated immediately and the server«Terri» came around immediately. My partner ordered scrambled eggs dry, and wheat toast. Terri asked if she wanted any meat, she said no. I ordered some kind of sausage country skillet. Terri asked what kind of cheese I wanted, I responded American. Nothing but black tea available. Very 1960’s. Our orders arrived quickly; my partner also was served potatoes on the plate, along with a couple grapes and a sliver of orange. When the bill arrived, I was annoyed to find that we were charged .70 for the potatoes we didn’t order, and .60 for the cheese. I don’t mind a bit of upselling, but this was a tad underhanded, in our view. Welcome to Indiana!
