The Arthur Murray Merrillville Studio has been in business since 1980, in the same conveinient location on US 30.

We are part of the Arthur Murray network of schools, the most successful ballroom dance organization in the world; over the last 100 years, we’ve literally taught hundreds of thousands of people how to dance, and have grown to almost 300 studios worldwide!

Business Owner

Anthony Coberg began dancing at Arthur Murray’s in 1985. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Purdue University Calumet, and has been dancing, teaching and competing for over 25 years. Anthony is a member of Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Honor Society, has donated large packages of dance instruction to support Lakeshore Public Television, as well as many other local charities.

Mr. Coberg, along with his wife Julie whom is the Co-​Franchisee, believes everyone can learn the joy of dancing, regardless of age or circumstance, and enjoys teaching as well as running a successful franchise that has served Northwest Indiana for over 3 decades. Anthony has an open door policy, so if you have a problem or concern, he will go out of his way to solve it for you. Anthony & Julie are members of the Valparaiso Nazarene Church, and proud members of the Chamber of Commerce and BBB.
