I called to order a pizza to my school to be ready at 12, and by 12:02 they weren’t there. We called and they said no one was there and they went back and said we had to come to pick it up. They were extremely rude and I’m highly disappointed because all I wanted was pizza. After calling again, they said they gave our pizza to someone else… ridiculous.

Needed to place a last minute catering order for the day before Christmas Eve, they were very accommodating. The staff was fantastic and the food was awesome… From the Shrimp and chicken Parm and Penne ala Vodka to the buffalo chicken pizza, everything was great. They even took the tail shells off the shrimp!!! .the little things like serving spoons, they remembered… will definitely use them again for catering or just for a great dinner…

Not good! I got the bacon and chicken slice because it looked interesting. The girl at the counter recommended ranch dressing. I said what? She said its really good. Well I know why now. The slice was so dry it was barely edible without it. I should have realized when I walked in that nothing looked fresh. Everything looked like it was sitting around for a couple of hours and this was at lunchtime! I will not be back.

Food is great. Love fresh pies and buffalo wings. Can’t stand some of the young female girls at the cash register. If it were my child I would be ashamed by their lack of manners. You can never be too young to learn about customer service.

Food is great. Prices are too. Counter help could be a little friendlier. Would recommend to others.

I was here for a farm adventure in Allentown, but it didn’t go through. So I went here with a friend and took out some food here. This place was clean, friendly staff, and roomy. I loved how they had the menu specials on a chalkboard with a little bit of flair. I ordered the Saltimbocca(if I spelled it right), a dish(chicken or veal) with prosciutto, cheese, green vegetables(I think broccoli rabe) with a marsala sauce. It was great! But I wish that the Marsala flavor was stronger. They also have some good garlic bread, If I’m ever in the area again. I will stop here.

Delivery from this place is great! Granted I live less than 5 minutes away, but the food arrives quickly and it’s always hot. Just had a veal parm hero and a Caesar salad, both were very good.

Viva Roma is really a take out spot, so you have to judge it by a different standard than say Galleria or Piccolo which are sit down spots. I was very impressed with their eggplant parmesan entrée, and would highly recommend it to anyone(I would give 5 stars if that’s all you eat). In fact the quality on the eggplant parmesan was even better than Galleria. But that said their margarita style pizza was on the average side — not bad but not the best either(it may have been the quality of the crust or the sauce). On the flip side their small pizza is huge, and a «side dish» of pasta was also huge. If you order a delivery the service is super fast and friendly so it’s worth a try(and I’ll be coming back). Update: Tried the regular pizza and it was great!

Walk right in like I’m walking into a sitcom. Hilarious, friendly staff. Good people. Good pizza. Good times. How a pizzeria should be run.

Well i walked in and the place was packed, good sign right? Well i got 2 regular slices to go and a soda. I got home and its awful, it tastes like perfume very odd taste. Wayyyy too much cheese for me as well. I wound up throwing it in the garbage and having cereal. The service was nice and well you really can’t mess up a diet coke. Never again.

Been coming here for 20 years. I no longer live in the area but I hit this place up EVERY time I come to visit my parents. Via Roma, My Hero, and All American are my must have foods on a trip to the island. Even when I was gone for a couple years and came back they remembered me by name, where I went, what I was doing, everything. This place not only has some of the greatest wings and food, they are a class act and a class establishment. HIGHLY recommended. THEFOOD The nuclear wings are absolutely the best wings I’ve ever had. Order them extra crispy and wet(extra sauce). My mouth is literally watering as I am writing this down. Remember, extra crispy and extra when you order. I have had wings in about 20 different states and hundreds of places in New York — Top 3 wings I’ve ever had.

I’ve gotten take out with my friend from Via Roma before but it’s been awhile so I couldn’t write a fair review until yesterday’s visit. I met my best friend in the whole world, my pseudo sister and we came here around dinner time so that I could take her nephew out for his birthday. I had the eggplant slice with ricotta cheese, my friend and her nephew shared fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Her nephew has actually named the dish Italian Mac ‘n’ cheese. The eggplant slice was absolutely delish, I had no complaints about it at all. It was flavorful, tasty, and full of eggplant, mozzarella and ricotta. The crust was great, sometimes the crust is a little too plain, a little burnt, a little hard. This crust was wonderful, it was just right, soft, and delicious. I didn’t sample the fettuccine because it had chicken in it, but my friend and her nephew eagerly ate the whole dish up so I’m sure they liked it. The sauce looked creamy and good! They gave us some bread and it was just as perfect as the crust. Great food Via Roma! After I’m done sampling other establishments on Merrick Ave I’m coming back to you!

Great pizza and even better dinners. The portions are huge and quite filling. There is a nice selection of pies and you should definitely try any one of the specialty pies. The heros are always stuffed and the dinners are big enough for 2. I love the vodka sauce and the chicken parmigiana. The counter people and owners make sure to know their customers and are quick to help in any way they can. They do deliver which is great on a lazy night.

I’ve been coming to Via Roma for over 10 years. It used to be just a couple of blocks down from my orthodontist’s office, so my parent’s bribe for an ew-early appointment was a slice o’ heaven afterward. It used to be a tiny pizza place but over the years its expanded with more tables, counter-table side seating, and an even larger wall mural(really though, whats with italian places having huge wall murals? what am i missing?) The staff is always friendly, and if you go there enough, they’ll be ready for you BEFORE you get there for lunch.(what? i used to work on the same block… [said the heifer]). Bottom line though, the pizza is fannnnnntastic. Whether a regular slice, a chunk of sicilian, or with one of the many toppings, guaranteed you’ll like what you order and will be heading back again.
