First things FIRST!
Doctor First was extremely concerned about my comfort. I had had a very bad experience with a dentist years ago and have not been able to shake it. I had been to see another dentist who told me I needed all kinds of work; such as root canals, new fillings and caps, so I was nervous about the procedures and how much everything was going to cost.
I was referred to Doctor First and although his office is in Long Island, and a good distance from where I live, I thought it might be worth it to give him a call. The person who answered the phone asked me some basic questions. She was very nice and we made an appointment for the following week. She politely asked me to come on time as the doctor is very busy and doesn’t like to keep his patients waiting. I was on time and after filling out the normal paperwork, Doctor First was ready to see me. He took x-​rays, and explained to me, so that I understood exactly what work was required (he even took the time to show me a video).
As it turned out, I didn’t need root canal or caps. I had one cracked tooth that needed to be cleaned out and crowned. He was kind, funny and gentle. I didn’t feel I thing! And the best part is – my teeth feel great! Also my wife got a cleaning while we were there and said it was the best cleaning she’s ever had.
I don’t write reviews but I felt compelled to write this one because I could have been taken advantage. But with doctor First, it seems like people come FIRST!
