You sit down to soft pretzels and leave with cotton candy. Had the pork chops which was very juicy and tender. Portions weren’t huge but we’re enough to make you full.

Took my son here after Middle school graduation for lunch. Understanding they had a more than usual lunch rush we figured it might take a little extra time. We got seated right away and were very patient we sat there and sat there and sat there not even a glass of water was delivered to the table. As we watched around while other people that came in after us got served we picked up and left. I certainly understand when places are not prepared for an extra crowd however it really was not that crowded and other people were getting served randomly, the lucky ones. We live a few blocks away and it’s a convenient place to go however I will never go back as the services is Atrocious.

Good burger, busy place for a Tuesday. Musician was stuffed in a corner, couldn’t be heard in the dining area above the buzz of conversation. Solid menu, something for everyone. Service a bit on the slow side, waitress seemed pressured. Nothing remarkable on presentation of food. Standard fare, nothing special. Ambiance is dull, sort of a darkened diner. Other than that, a decent place to eat…

Rude hostess who cannot accurately measure wait times. Food is consistently OK… and I will keep coming back because its great for kids… but in general you can probably do way better. Try the chicken quesadilla… its top notch.

I was introduced to this place 2 years ago, as it was the place my boyfriend and I went on our first date. I had the steak fajitas. messy choice for a first date but definitely worth it. We went back on our 1 year anniversary and our 2 year anniversary last night and have not had a bad experience yet. The servers were nice and on the ball. The décor is great, the service is great, the food is great. Thumbs up!

Came here for dinner on a Tuesday evening around 5pm. There was no wait but it got more crowded as we were leaving. Really enjoyed the pretzel/cornbread basket. I ordered the«world’s best» Mac and cheese which was good but not the worlds best and very expensive. $ 17 for a bowl of mac and cheese. My boyfriend got the teriyaki chicken burger which he said was good but very sweet. I didn’t like it but the fries were very good and crispy. Chicken burger was $ 16. Loved the cotton candy with the check.

Came here on a Saturday around lunch time. We went only because my wife heard they serve pretzels, instead of a bread basket, and cotton candy for dessert. The place was ½ empty. Our server came right over and asked about drinks. We are not drinkers and only wanted water. When we ordered our meal, we asked about the pretzels. Surprise, no pretzels or cotton candy during lunch hour on Saturday. I ordered a burger. I like my burgers cooked rare. They actually cooked my burger rare, just the way I like it. The burger was tasty. Service was pretty good. Prices were ok.

My first night here, as well as my last. Though some foods, such as the pretzels they give you when you sit down, were decent-the service sucked! My waitress seemed nowhere to be found and even the hostesses seemed to not care about anything. Even the people next to us couldn’t find their waitress. When my food arrived it was wrong, after giving up back to them it took so long to get a new plate. When I received my new plate my steak was so well done it was practically charcoal. At that point I gave up and ate it anyway. They did not make up for the mistakes they made. We were not compensated! Pretty much: okay food, HORRIBLE service.

Absolutely love this place! Food is always on point. Love the atmosphere. Service is my only complaint but it doesn’t deter me from going! Mac and cheese is so delicious!

Checked this place out for lunch and another time for dinner. The staff is friendly and attentive & the food is great and not a huge portion which I love(I had the grilled simple salmon with broccoli) For dinner they give you popcorn or warm pretzels to snack on while you wait for your meal which is a plus & they bring out Cotton candy after your meal which is an even bigger plus. The downside is the parking, it’s tough to find parking because I believe people from the train station use it to park so when you show up you think it’s packed from the outside but when you go inside the restaurant it’s empty.

Crap food. Bad service. Unappreciative owner/management. If you are coming for pretzel bread and cotton candy, go buy it at Fairway and save yourself time, aggravation and money! Amazing they have been playing this rip off game for so many years.

We were seated immediately which was nice because the parking lot always seems to be full. We were greeted and received water and the complimentary hot pretzels which is a very nice touch. Ordered Steak Fajitas Medium and Skirt Steak Medium. Received Fajitas well done & what appeared to be a London Broil. When I questioned the server who seemed to be missing for quite some time she acknowledged it was wrong and brought it back to the kitchen. They fired up a Skirt Steak and replaced my meal and brought new steak for the fajitas cooked to the proper temp. Mind you the excuse for the well done steak on the fajitas was ‘the skillet is really hot it most likely cooked it to well done while it was waiting to be served’ That’s a first for me, never heard that excuse. Either way, it was a mediocre meal. Due to the screw up they brought us a complimentary piece of cheesecake doused in raspberry sauce. I just didn’t have the heart to explain to the server that I am allergic to raspberries. Instead we just nibbled and called it a night. They also gave us what appeared to be their trademark Cotton Candy as a treat. Nice touch as well. Overall… meh… I’ve had better.

So this place was pretty good but the service was kind of sucky. The food was very tasty and it was certainly nice to get a pretzel with some mustard instead of bread(there was five of us and they offered another pretzel and we said yes and it never came.. . FAIL) There was no presentation what so ever of the menu or specials in fact our waitress only attempted to make it very clear that there were no crab cakes on the menu and she couldn’t believe how upset her other table was about it. The pork chops were pretty good and it was over all a nice dinner but they need to revamp the wait staff. Here’s some advice: Give a menu tour, it goes a long way and when you don’t you seem lazy and it makes giving you the 20% tip you’d swear you deserve very hard. Pay attention to your customers feet(my feet got stepped on at least eight times no exaggeration, you never know when your guest is wearing an $ 800 pair of shoes like me. Clear the plates when your guests are finished! I swear the bussers walked by our table all night but would never take the initiative and clear a plate. When you give a desert menu you could maybe recommend something. Do a better job of training your staff, it’s not their fault they don’t know what they’re doing, look within!

Nice décor, good selection on menu, I ordered a skirt steak with carmalized onions… they served me a 6 oz piece of meat for 30 dollars, ridiculous Had a baby spinach and goat cheese salad that was fantastic. service was good, beer wasn’t cold enough. All and all I spent 85 dollars before tip AND I wasn’t to happy with the place 30DOLLARSFOR A 6OZSKIRTSTEAKISRIDICULOUS

To the owner Do you have any idea how much money you are loosing every day? Inattentive staff, slow service means you loose orders(especially booze where you make an extremely good margin) as well as food, table turns, etc. Wise up! Btw the food is good.

Though they do not take reservations, you can call a half hour before you come and they will put your name on the waiting list. Pretzels instead of a bread basket and ending the meal with fresh cotton candy are always a nice touch. The service is adequate. A good place to come for an enjoyable ladies night out. Stick with the skirt steak, it seems to be the meal everyone always enjoys. Tip — Park in the Zwanger Pesiri parking lot, much easier to find a spot and to get in and out of.

I LOVEBRUNCH!!! It is my absolute favorite meal of the week, that’s why I love Grillfire. They have a great brunch. No matter what I’ve ordered from there, the food was always so good. From the Omelette Lorraine, or the Silver Dollar Benedict, or just a plain old burger, I’ve never been disappointed. Brunch here is served with a complimentary cocktail(although their other location in Rockville Centre offers unlimited cocktails for an extra $ 6, sadly this location does not) and their starter before your meal are mini bagels and muffins. If you closer to the end of brunch though, you’ll get their amazing warm pretzels which are just as great. The prices are reasonable, with the meal, an extra bloody mary and the tip, the bill came to about $ 23 per person. Not terrible by any means. But if you’re looking for a low key, enjoyable place to relax and eat some great food, you just found it! Just a small note though, at prime brunch time(12−2PM) their fairly small parking lot is EXTREMELY full, so start looking for street parking after that.

I was surprised, but I really enjoyed this place! I went in weary, with all of the 3-star reviews. Average food for an above average price is one of my biggest gripes about living on Long Island. But, this place really surprised me. We arrived around 8 to grab a drink before our 8:30 reservation for a friends birthday. The place was paaaacked. We had to stand in the doorway. We couldn’t even make our way to the bar. When our friend finally arrived, it was a few minutes before our reservation and the hostess showed us to the lounge area to wait for our table. I urge everyone to make a reservation, because even with one, we waited half an hour to be seated. Not ideal, but it was a Saturday night, what are you going to do? When we were finally seated, our waitress immediately brought over a basket of pretzels. Clearly they weren’t homemade, but they we warm and not stale, so I couldn’t complain. Our drink orders were taken and then brought to us in a timely fashion. As were our appetizers. We ordered the buffalo chicken fondue and the spinach and artichoke dip. I am in LOVE with the buffalo chicken fondue. Creamy, strong blue cheese flavor, huge chunks of chicken, and some sweetness from the mango salsa it was paired to. It was perfect, not to mention the portion size was on point. The spinach and artichoke dip was a little boring. Too much garlic, not creamy enough. Oh well. The buffalo chicken was my suggestion, so I was pleased with myself. As for entrees, the birthday girl and her best friend ordered the Mac and cheese with sides of Caesar salads. They both really enjoyed it! My sister ordered the meatloaf with a side of whipped sweet potatoes and she was very pleased with her dish. My fiancé had the ribeye special with mashed potatoes and he was very satisfied. As for me, I had the steak and shrimp. The skirt steak was cooked perfectly and it was paired with amazing coconut shrimp. I opted for the mashed potatoes and they were rich and creamy and I was happy. Portions were large and prices were okay! I went in thinking it was going to be excessively expensive, but the price matched the portions and we were all very happy! The birthday girl chose the DIY s’mores as dessert and she loved it. It was a fun and delicious night and I really want to come back soon!
