History

Established in 1991.

Modern Paving Systems, Inc. First opened it’s doors for business in the early 1990’s. We had only the bare essentials (which were outdated), but through pride and hard work we were able to produce quality, top notch results that would rival any company with more sophisticated equipment and larger workforce. As a result, we have created a flawless reputation with many happy customers. We now own state-​of-​the-​art equipment and still pride ourselves in producing work of the highest quality.

Now, with over 20 years of experience, we know Property Management can be a tough job with many decisions to be made and problems to solve. We also know that keeping property neat and appealing to the eye is not always an easy task. The exterior of your property is usually a person’s first impression of your business.

After working for other Asphalt companies around Kansas City, John started MPSI so that he could deliver the finest workmanship without having to cut any corners at other paving companies do. John believes that if you contract to lay 2 inches of asphalt, then you shouldn’t lay 1 and ¾ inches. That quarter inch of asphalt multiplied over the square footage of your entire parking lot can easily add up to tons of asphalt. It’s one way you can be taken advantage of by other less honest companies. John stands on his word, you buy it, you get it!
