Under new management! I was sad to see the previous owners leave, but the new owners are very nice indeed! I had a pedicure and have some issues with my big toenail — Sandy fixed it right up! Quick and flawless pedi! Also had a gel mani — again, quick and flawless! I’ll tell all my friends and will be back!

On vacation in Lake Winnie and needed a quick gel manicure. Knocking off a star bc they claim they can handle walk ins but in August on a rainy Tuesday that was not the case. Only 2 staff members working. They asked me to come back and when I said ok for a scheduled time they called me back and said it wouldn’t work after all. Ended up just calling back a little later and got in.
The four stars is for Mike and how awesome he was. Loved the conversation and felt like I was his client that had been going there for years. I was not rushed even though he had an appointment after me. He also had a personality. Important to me when I am sitting getting my nails done. I’m easily bored. Some technicians won’t speak to you no matter what. Mike made me smile. It’s hard to do on a rainy day for me. I get cranky on vacation with no sun.
When I found a slight perfection with my polish, after the fact, (I’m picky) Mike fixed it immediately. I would go back here and trust me I don’t go just anywhere. I read reviews of nail salons before I go bc I worry about cleanliness, ease and people that won’t entertain me. This place did not let me down. Thanks Unilocal!I would go back if I was in the area.

Best nail salon I have ever been to. Very friendly staff. Love the hot stones. My sister and I walked in and they were able to accommodate us for a pedi and mani. Awesome

Mike was terrific, he saved my nails from breaking. Wait was short and everyone was friendly. If you need your nails done go here.

I had a great experience from the phone call to schedule through the great manicure/​pedicure. Roseanne was very skilled, professional, and also personable. The salon is very clean and comfortable. I will be back. Under new ownership this year and a positive change.

I live here in Meredith. My friend and I were looking for a spur of the moment pedicure. I called and we sitting comfortably right away. The salon is quaint, clean and comfortable. Jen and Rosemary gave us superb pedicures. We were given discount cards for our return visit. Excellent pedicure, friendly and professional staff. We will definately return!

My toenails look great, but after looking at my feet the manicurist recommended a callous treatment ($ 10). He poured a solution on my feet and started scrubbing really hard with an abrasive pad. He ended up giving me about an inch long cut/​scrape on my heal.

I went in this morning to get a deluxe pedicure, going in early and calling a little ahead helped. There was no wait when I got got there, but with only four technicians people soon had to wait. The treatment itself was awesome, including their new callus lotion. My feet look great I will be back!

I came from Daytona to New Hampshire to work bike week in Laconia and after the event, my hands were looking pretty rough. Since I had some time to kill before my flight, I decided to give my hands some TLC with a manicure/​gel set. A Google search led me to Castle Nails, and I’m so happy I came across this place! Hanson did an amazing job with my french manicure, he made it very thin and natural and listened to exactly what I wanted with the length and style. He pampered me with cuticle oil, hot towels, and a soothing hand massage. Great price for a fantastic experience… if you’re in the area, Castle Nails will make you feel like a princess!

I have been to Castle Nails twice for a manicure and pedicure. In both cases, the polish held up great. I was served by Rose Anne who is personal and professional. Lastly, their prices are fantastic!

Recently returns after a few months away and had a GREAT shellac mani w Mike. Fast and attentive to little details which make his manis last!

I had a very bad experience here at Castle Nails. Even though the secretary and manicurist were very friendly, the full acrylic set I got was horrible. It took her almost an hour to do them, and had to come back the next day to get them fixed because the acrylic was digging into my skin and it was so painful.
When I went back, the manicurist said” oh I don’t do acrylics that often, gel nails are better” …like that is an excuse for doing them poorly. I ended up going to another salon the next week and got them taken off and had new ones put on.

The staff, and service are wonderful at Castle Nail Salon. The day of my wedding the owner opened early and closed to other customers to allow my bridal party and I to get mani/​pedis before the main event. The staff could not have been any more accommodating and friendly and that’s not to mention the quality of the services. My gel manicure lasted a full 4 weeks without even chipping — yes it was a French Manicure but none the less, a 4 week manicure is almost unheard of! They took the time to properly paint the edges of my nails ensuring it would last as long as possible.
I would recommend this salon to anyone looking for a quality manicure in the Lakes Region!

Stopped in for a pedicure. This place is clean and the people working there are very friendly. A posh spa it is not, but it was nice and comfy and inexpensive!

We showed up on a slower morning during bike week. There was two guys there to do our three pedicures. Yan did two of us, and did a great job. Nice massages, and a good 40 minutes or so for a 30 dollar pedicure. Not too shabby. They have the sterilizer in view and pulled the tools straight from it. A mani/​pedi is 40 bucks. I’ll be going back.
A tip from them is to call for appointments during the summer season, as they get super busy.
