Absolutely love this place. Wish I lived closer to it. Great craft beer selection, great food. Decore is phenomenal, adds to ambience. Prices are good. Food, all of it, everything I’ve ever had here is fantastic. Near the Outlet Mall, not far from Slippery Rock. Well worth the drive.

We went here after a day of shopping at the Grove City Outlets and met up with some friends for a late linner. The waitress started us off with their house made chips and dip which was delicious and a huge amount. I ordered the combo bbq plate with the pulled rib eye and the ribs. It was a huge portion and I hardly made it through any of it, but it did make great leftovers. I got the sweet potato fries and the jalapneo creamed corn as my sides. The corn was definitely unlike anything I had ever had, and was delicious. I really enjoyed the sweet potato fries and the delicious dipping sauce it came with. I will definitely go back after a day of shopping because this place was close by and had the best food choices in the area!

Came for dinner and it was delicious. I went to their sister restaurant last night, Rachel’s. I had French onion soup, firecracker ahi tuna, and a sweet backed potato with cinnamon butter. The service was great!

Went there on a Saturday night and the place was packed(hour and a half wait). When I finally had my dinner, I knew why… This place is great! The menu is extensive and the food is excellent. The wait staff are extremely busy, but still very friendly and efficient. There’s a wide variety of craft beers(bottled and on tap), and the overall vibe of the place is one of the friendliest I’ve ever encountered. I will definitely be back. It’s an hour away from my house, but well worth the trip.

Came here while passing through on a road trip. We were quickly seated, received fast services, and each order came with SO much food at decent prices– all pros. Solid 3.5 stars. Our table ordered a few dishes including some burgers(tasty) with fries(a little soggy), the rib rack, and — my dish — the pulled prime rib. The meat was good but not hot, which always takes away from the meal for me. The side of greens I got were slightly spicy and very tasty. The highlight for me: the sweet potato! It was a big as my face(it probably could have made the filling for at least half of a pie), and it was hot! And the cinnamon sugar butter — to die for. I couldn’t even come close to finishing my plate. Our server was friendly. I wished she would have checked on us a bit more — I wanted to add to my order at one point and to let her know my food wasn’t warm at another point — but I couldn’t be bothered to get up. The ambiance was also charming, in a hunter’s-cabin-in-the-Midwest kind of way.(The taxidermy business around here must be booming!) Jokes aside, the design and set up gave it character, and it was clearly a popular location. Overall, enjoyed a solid, very filling meal as we were passing through! Glad we came here.

My family and I have been going to the Iron Bridge Inn since I was young. All of the Springfield Group restaurants are wonderful and any time I am back in the area visiting family, its tradition to have at least a few meals at some assortment of the family of restaurants. Last night, we made our way back to the Iron Bridge Inn and it was not surprisingly another wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted with smiles(and hugs too) as we saw some familiar faces of management and staff that we’ve come to know through the years. Our personal favorite is Julie Crawford and we were delighted to see her last night. Although we had a fantastic server already — Julie stopped by our table a few times to make sure everything was to our liking. She is a delight! I had not had the Iron Bridge bbq before and our entire family ordered off the bbq menu. It was fantastic! My father and I each had a ½ rack of ribs and my husband had a combo plate of pulled pork and ribs. Everything was smoked to perfection and we enjoyed every last bite. The sides and cornbread were out of this world as well and their homemade bbq sauces were the cherry on top– so yummy! Thank you for another wonderful experience Iron Bridge Inn and Springfield Group. We were sorry to see the Springfield Grille close their doors but are very excited with future business ventures you pursue and wish you the best. We’ll be back again soon!

Great experience for our 1st time! We walked in without reservations and were advised of a 25 minute wait so we put our name down and grabbed a seat at the bar. That is where we met Jonathan. He suggested a great IPA for my husband and then mixed me up a strong berry martini– it was tasty! We then took his recommendations on what to have for dinner so we canceled our table and ended up eating at the bar. I had the bbq combo plate that had both chicken and pork with a jalipeno creamed corn that was fabulous! The porition was HUGE! It was enough food for 2 people! The cornbread was good too! We will be back for sure the next time we are down in Grove City!

Always top notch. My wife and I always stop when passing through. Just wish they would bring back the coconut shrimp! Pretzels are a must as an appetizer!

My husband and I went here back on Valentine’s day of 2014. The wait was crazy, so I figured that would be a good sign. Long waits with no one leaving usually means the wait is worth it. When we sat down the seats were clean and the table was freshly wiped down. I didn’t pay a visit to the restroom so I couldn’t tell you if they were clean. The food wasn’t really my thing. I’m completely okay with that. The menu wasn’t really my style and the types of food they offered were not something I would normally eat. They seem very well liked and they are constantly busy. I personally like the food down the street at Rachel’s Roadhouse more. However, my husband loved the food he had, so there’s that. The server’s were great and the management was very nice. We’ll likely give this one another shot and maybe I’ll be able to update my review.

I’ve been here many times but this was my first time with the new menu. The food has been delicious on every visit but the meal I got today will be my all time favorite. I got the Cajun turkey melt and it was so flavorful and filling. I wouldn’t change a single ingredient. The rest of our guests all had equally satisfying meals including the venison burger, lobster pizza, haystack chicken, and a steak. I will definitely be back very soon.

My friend and I met his parents and his sister and brother in law for a late lunch here yesterday(Sunday) afternoon. There was about a 20 minute wait when my friend and I arrived so we took two seats at the bar to await the arrival of everyone else. They had a really nice craft draft list. I chose Goose Island Rambler IPA and he chose Yuengling. After about 15 minutes his parents showed up and our table was ready so we were sat in a large booth in the back. The décor of the place is very rustic-lots of stuffed animals-polar bears, wolves, turkeys, elk, etc. It’s made basically to look like an old time wilderness fort. They did a good job with it. We ordered another round and some apps while we were still waiting on the rest of our party. We ordered the seafood stuffed mushrooms-6 large mushrooms stuffed with a crab mixture topped with cheddar and monterrey jack cheeses melted. These were pretty good-nothing spectacular. We also ordered a dozen wings. They come cherry and hickory smoked with no sauce. Sauces are served in a carrying case on the side. These wings didn’t need any sauce-the flavor from the cherry/hickory smoker was phenomenal! They were some of the best wings I’ve had in a long time. Here is where service came in-it was terrible, downright rude at times. yes the last two people in our party were very late-we waited about an hour at the table for them. At one point our server asked us if they were still coming. When we replied yes, he rolled his eyes and said, «well it’s been awhile.» and we never saw him back at the table until the remainder of our party showed. We all had empty drinks at that point. We wanted to order before the last two arrived and we had to flag down a different server to order entrees. Once our server brought our entrees, we never saw him until he dropped off the check. Not one word asking about how our food was. Now I thought maybe we were the table keeping him there, however, I saw him go wait on other tables as we were walking out the door so evidently, this«server» was just rude to us for whatever reason. Back to the food… My friend and his dad both had the prime rib dip(shaved prime rib, forest blend mushrooms, provelone cheese and au jus). His mom had the pulled bbq pork sandwich. I had a half sandwich(the turkey club melt) with a cup of french onion soup. The soup was pipping hot and wasn’t overly cheesy-it was tasty. The half sandwich was the perfect size after sharing those apps. It was hand carved turkey, cheddar cheese melted with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and a jalepeno mayo on wheat jalepeno bread. The bread was very unique-not overly spicy at all and really kicked the club up a notch. I would come back here again and try their BBQ which they are well known for. Only other drawback is it’s about an hour away from Pittsburgh but good if you’re up in the Grove City area already looking for a bite to eat.

I’ve gone here for years — when I was up near Mercer. Not often but it’s a landmark. I went in for lunch with my Mom and Aunt. Had a really nice lunch, the atmosphere is awesome. Beautiful wood with classic styling. I felt like I was in an old tavern in Ireland. I had the Reuben, a beer, and some fries. Someone else had the fish and chips. Nice tender pieces of fish crispy breading and great fries. The Sandwiches here are delicious. Definitely a winner going here anytime. It gets a good bit busier at Dinner time.

Well, well worth the turn off the highway from our destination. This had to be one of the best burgers I have ever had. The burger was on a pepper bun, with cheese, fried green beans and thick bacon. Cooked to perfection and the fried green beans added that extra twist. The burger came with a delicious potato pancake. Ohh… yum. It was warm and spiced to perfection. They also serve pasta dishes, BBQ, soups, salads, fish and sandwiches. Everything sounded yummy and worth trying. Two thumbs up for this cute, cozy restaurant with delicious food!!!

Wow! This place was rockin ’ on a Saturday afternoon, and I know why! The service was just fantastic, a great bar with a couple of real Bartenders working it. The food is absolutely delicious. I split the deep fried lobster appetizer with Rosie, which was real good. A mixed grill was my entrée which included 3 lamb chops, some scallops and a small sirloin steak with rice pilaf . Rosie had a black garlic steak which was also delicious. We took a couple of desserts back to the RV and they were very good also. I will go back here!

My daughter and I took a trip to Grove City Outlets recently and, on the advice of a friend, stopped at Iron Bridge Inn for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised! We both loved their Lobster Macaroni and Cheese, rolls and salad, as well as the nice décor and wonderful service! We will be back!

Staff was very friendly, and the food was great! It had such a down-to-earth feel to the place and the food matched the atmosphere. Though I am not typically a fan of stuffed animals(and they had a lot!), I would still come back here and definitely tell all of my friends. Plus the place was packed, which shows that I am not the only one who loves the food!

Great place to grab a bite if your traveling across PA on I-80. It’s a few miles off the exit but worth the short jog unless your in a hurry and a chain burger will do. It’s filled with stuffed animals(that’s kinda freaky for a restaurant) in my opinion but looking around most of the clients eating here may have provided the mounted game for the décor. There are also some older advertisement. I had a unsweetened ice tea and a prime rib dip with an order of house cut fries. I must admit it was pretty good the au jus could of been prepackaged.

Iron Bridge is run by the same people as Rachel’s and Springfield Grille(both down the street). All three are p a c k e d all the time; you see a lot of locals here. I’ve been here a couple of times when grabbing lunch. Their specialty is BBQ, but they also have other options including a variety of sandwiches. IB also has specials on a daily basis. Pricing is reasonable. Service is pretty good as well. Good for: BBQ, lunch Iron Bridge is a great alternative to Subway and the Golden Arches if you’re in Mercer.

I have been going to the Iron Bridge Inn for years and have never been disappointed. Last visit I had orange roughy with asparagus. They serve fresh rolls and made on the site dressing for your salads. Most items are ala carte but the food is well cooked. My fish was tender and in a delicious sauce. It is a good place to get away for a homecooked meal when you want to avoid the outlets nearby or get off campus from a local college. The décor is rustic with a lot of taxidermy animals. Beverages are served in jars. I will be back more to dine here. I was also happy to find free Wi-Fi when I dine.
