Mercer Island Towing

Worst experience with these guys. My tire goes flat on a rainy night. I call my insurance for help, they said these guys will come pick us up in 1 hour.
I call them 30 mins after, they say 1 hour from then. I am like, what? This guy is so rude and hangs up.
I call them another 15 mins after, the guy is so rude and starts yelling at me and not to call back.
I called insurance to report their rudeness, lethargic attitude and time insensitiveness.
The insurance company apologies and says they will check on these guys.
I get a callback from insurance and they are like, we are sorry, mercer island towing said they can’t come and their vehicle is broken. The insurance company said they will arrange for another towing.
So far, the worst experience with these guys.

I concur with Kim P. If you get in an accident on I-​90, call AAA or anyone except MI Towing. The charge is up to $ 225 initial impound and $ 45/​day. The impound lot is a tiny space near the Bellevue dump. You have to call to get to your call as the lot is unmanned. They also almost dumped my car off their flatbed. Mercer Island Towing is a scam.
This business should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of people when they are most vulnerable… after an accident.

Without getting into too many details, I would try to avoid doing business with these people at all costs. They were called on a rotating basis by the State Patrol after having an accident on I-​90… luck (???) of the draw. I found them to be rude and very unprofessional, not worthy of the work they do.

umm my car went up on their flatbed to go to the dealership because it wouldnt start. The tow truck driver then proceeded to DROP my car off the back of the tow truck ripping off the whole front end, tearing out the radiator and possible frame damage.
So far they have taken care of the rental car and will be taking care of all the body work and any other mechanical damage this may have caused. If my axle is cracked or frame is damaged, then we are looking at a totaled car. Did I mention while our day went to complete hell because the driver didn’t hook up the front suspension cord before lowering the flatbed we sat at the body shop forever because the lady in their office just FAXED over the claim information? REALLY you can’t pick up the phone and file the darn claim so were not stranded in Auburn waiting for the rental car?
The best part? The manager said we can drive one of their 2004 malibu’s sitting at their tow lot. Umm you DROP my car off the back of your truck, doing major body damage and you want to offer me to drive your pos 2004 malibu? Our car is a 2008 Jetta… the odasity.
