With perfectionism and fine attention to detail, I specialize in small to medium sized projects on your home. I have a strong passion for customer service with my number one goal being your complete satisfaction with my work. My greatest reward in what I do is hearing from my customers how my work has enhanced the enjoyment and value of their homes. I also enjoy helping my customers think through the creative design process while ensuring that they are able to meet their budget. I perform a broad range of services including remodels, interior and exterior painting, finished carpentry, as well as general maintenance and repairs to your home. I can also take care of small jobs around your house such as re-​caulking a bathtub, repairing holes in a wall, fixing a clogged drain, or washing exterior windows.

History

Established in 2010.

Several years ago, I gained valuable knowledge and skill sets while working under Dan Buethe at D&L Construction in Auburn, WA. After moving to Seattle, I started M5 after several months of being sought after by friends and colleagues to perform work on their homes. My client base has been 100% referral.

Many people ask me the significance of the name, «M5». It is the 5 McKim’s; my wonderful wife of 11 years and my 3 children, precious beyond words. We moved to West Seattle in 2007 under a call from the Lord to plant a church. We have continued in this work since and the Lord has faithfully provided for our financial needs through the skills that He has given me as a carpenter. I see each job and each customer as a gift from His hand and make it my aim to serve my customer as if serving the Lord Himself.
