Goichi Shiotsu, DDS

I was looking forward to seeing the doctor which was recommended by a friend of mine. By nature i’m usually very patient with people and everything around me because every thing may happen. In spite of my first unpleasant impression about the office and the doctor’s assistance I was staying still in a good mood waiting for the doctor. All in all I spent two and a half hours at the clinic seing the doctor in general only about 15 minutes!!! All the other time i was sitting and waiting for smth which was a secret for me. I was really angry and upset about the whole organization at the clinic and their indifference that I realized i’d never come back here again!!! After thie horrible experience the whole day was spoiled, I got a terrible stress which caused me some problems with my health. To tell the truth I never wrote any review in my life and never thought I would write a bad one!!! But the disappointment was so great that made me did so!!! sorry…

How much do you know about dentistry? How much control you can put into dentist work to make sure cavity is fixed and fillings are there for many years but not just for a couple years?
When I was 16, I had a dentist who did amazing veneers for me and they worked perfectly for 15 years for me and they are still there.
Throughout my time in North AMerica, I was looking for a dentist whom I can 100% trust. It is a bit tough in Bellevue area that is «spoiled» by Microsoft and Google with their good annual insurances.
I came to dr. Shiotsu by recommendation of my friend with the recommendation that he is incredibly decent, honest and professional. And I had a chance to make sure this is true. Every time I go to take care of my teeth. First time in my life no anesthetic during regular cleaning. I saw images of my teeth before and after. I wasn’t able to even see where the filling was being done! The first thing I said after my first appointment was over is that he is a magician, that this was the best dentist appointment ever and I feel I was in spa :)
In addition, I love that he uses hi-​tech equipment. I kind of pay a lot of attention to those tools that professionals use. Don’t accept low quality stuff for professional service.
On top of that, a few minutes of talk with dr. Shiotsu about life before treatment gives tons of positive energy throughout a day.
The only thing I regret is that I had his business card for 2 years and didn’t come earlier.
Staying in dentistry with no fear and leaving my dentist with a big and thankful smile means a lot to me :)

Dr. Shiotsu and his staff (especially Pam!) are wonderful. They have treated me like family and helped me through the dental implant process. I now have a great new tooth! Dr. Shiotsu even called my house later the day of surgery to make sure I was ok. We had a question over the weekend and he was kindly responsive.
During cavity fillings, you can watch a DVD (either bring one in or they have a selection in office) if you want with special viewing glasses/​headphones. It helps pass the time! Plus, the doctor and his assistant are always very attentive and make sure you’re as comfortable as possible.
In addition, I’ve been getting my teeth cleaned here for many years and always have great results.
I’d DEFINITELY recommend them to a friend — in fact, I have referred a few friends already!
