Construction Dispute Resolution

I contacted Construction Dispute Resolution on the advice of my attorney who was defending me in a law suit brought by an unscrupulous buyer in 2001 who makes litigation a part of his past real estate purchases according to court records. the Realtor was his friend who used Dual Agency to buy my property. The buyer made several allegations regarding a water problem that he claimed I knew about but did not disclose. He used the same tactic on another seller getting a settlement from that seller’s insurance company. CDR inspected the property and asked numerous questions regarding the work that the buyer had done. He was also a contractor with a law degree The buyer’s responses misrepresented the facts not knowing about the expertise that CDR has in these issues. CDR suggested a way to save money on their billing by suggesting that I do some of the spread sheet documentation myself. We ended up in mediation rather than court where my loss wasn’t as much as it could have been. I highly recommend CDR for any issue involving construction including hiring expert witnesses if your case goes to court.
