History

Established in 1960.

George Parker came from Chowchilla where he was a partner in a hardware store in the 1950’s. He wanted to suppl the service that he had been providing to Chowchilla’s finest and bring it Merced. On June 8th, 1960 he opened Parker’s Hardware at its current location. The business expanded through the years but always placed an emphasis on customer service and hardwork. One of George’s proudest admissions is that he has been fortunate to work alongside such fine, hardworking co-workers.

As the evolution of hardware stores has occurred, Parker’s has stayed on top with quality merchandise. We have maintained as one of Echo’s top customers. We have access to many of the top small engine products from multiple differnt brands. Call us or come down to find out what we offer.

Come down to Parker’s and see what they can do for you!
