Big 5 Sporting Goods

After going to both Merced locations I have found that the Merced mall location does not take as much pride in the happiness for their costumers like the new location does. When I walked into the mall location I was not greater but the woman at the counter. A first impression is everything! Then while walking around I was not asked by anyone if there was anything I needed help finding. After finding what I needed to try on I asked the same woman for a dressing room she then to me «yea hang on» I found that very rude a simple one moment please would have been nice. She then opened the dressing room for me and when I said thank you she just said «yea». Finally my friend was checking out she then seemed very irritated that she had to break a $ 100 we were finally done checking out and we were leaving but we didn’t get any have a nice day or enjoy or anything we the customers had to tell her to have a nice day. So if your trying to find something at Big 5 I highly recommend going to the one by barns n noble instead of the mall you will get no help and rude service.

We were on a real roll on this day with Big 5 stores… After a failure at the Atwater location, my wife and I went her to see if she could find any running shoes she liked. She found a pair that was OK (but not enamoring), but then noticed they didn’t have any disposable socks for her to try them on. At least a salesman asked us if we needed help this time, unlike when we had to hunt one down somewhere else… Anyhow, he said that they were out of socks and THAT WAS THAT. Like he gave a rat’s ass. Good to know that the customer is appreciated here.
