The highly skilled team at Artisan Construction & Design will work with you to create the space you have been envisioning. We will guide you through the remodeling process, helping you know what to expect each step of the way. You will have control over aspects of the project like when Artisan employees will arrive each day, how you would like them to gain access to your property, and whether Artisan employees will use your bathroom during working hours. History

Established in 1974.

Artisan Construction and Design officially began in 1999 by merging two construction companies, one of which was John Price Builders. Following their first year of operation, Artisan Construction was publicly recognized with two Chrysalis Awards for Excellence in Residential Remodeling. In the second year of operation, Artisan expanded into the commercial sector and decided to build a higher volume of quality projects throughout California.

In a short period of time, the company had doubled in volume and employees. Commercially, Artisan completed projects for banks and credit unions in the bay area and the Central Valley. The service area has expanded to include all of California.

In addition, the residential division has completed wonderful projects, including many kitchens, baths, room additions, second story additions and decks. In recognition of Artisan’s high quality, the company has received multiple Chrysalis Awards and multiple CoTY Awards for projects over the past years.

Business Owner

CEO John Price has been in the remodeling business for over 15 years. He knows it all! He is LEED (Leadership in Energy & Envorinmental Design) certified and a Certified Remodeler (CR). He is also currently president of the Central California Chapter of NARI (National Association of Remodeling Industry) and The Builders Exchange of Merced.
