Great Pub atmosphere. I had the corned beef and cabbage with carrots and red skin potatoes, it was great. The bartender and waitress were very pleasant and entertaining. I’ll be back!

Great corned beef sandwich. Asked the waitress about amount of meat in some of the dishes. Ended up with the Shepherd’s Pie. Taste was very good but came with only a spoonful of beef. Was told more should have been inside the casserole. They took it away and gave me a new dish with a little more beef. Should have spent a couple dollars more and gotten a lot more meat with another menu item. The potatoes in the stew and the large scoop of mashed potatoes on top filled me up. Ordered peach pie, waitress nuked it for 50 seconds. Needed a minute more. Managent or chef should know what’s needed to heat up their food. Sad way to end the meal.

Don’t go out of your way for this. Super friendly for sure, but food and atmosphere were lacking. I had a buffalo wrap(almost average) and my man had a steak(above average). But served with corn and it was completely tasteless. Possibly frozen and freezer burned!?! A weird experience. I wish I would have ordered the Reuben. Our friend had a burger and chips and she liked it. The experience could be improved with a cleaning and a coat of paint.

A great establishment and relaxing atmosphere while you’re on vacation visiting the locals in the area. The place seems warm and the people are nice. One in particular goes above and beyond(Nichole). She’s one of the nicest people I’ve ever met working at any restaurant. Makes you feel like you’re at home, even when home is thousands of miles away. If you ever happen to get her table, tip big! I mean really big, that girl is a keeper. I highly recommend this establishment. Maximum stars is a must.

This review is only on the shepherd’s pie entrée. Everyone else in my party ordered rubens and enjoyed their meal. My shepherd’s pie was shockingly disappointed for an Irish pub. It was mostly mashed potatoes on top of gooey gravy. Barely any meat and filling. I kept swirling my fork around hoping to find some substance. In the end, I left hungry and very dissatisfied. I didn’t say anything to the waitress because we were with company and didn’t want to spoil the evening atmosphere. I’ll return, but only for beer and ruben sandwiches.

great food great people, right down to the warm welcome the owner gives you. Even though I was only traveling thru for a few months, they call u by name from day two. Most friendliest place I have been in awhile. Les from Chicago

We were here for a birthday party. The room was far too warm and it was set up fairly inconveniently for a group of 40+(eventually they fixed the table arrangement). The buffet items provided were really quite good(mini rubens, ruben rolls, potato skins). They provided free pitchers of Spotted Cow, Weissbier, and Guinness. The waitresses working the party were clearly overwhelmed and not on point which was frustrating at first. When we went to the bar, things improved. The bartender was awesome and we could watch the Blackhawks game in relative peace. One negative, the kitchen closes at 9.. .on a Saturday. That was odd.

If for no other reason, come to Taylor and Dunn’s to try the Irish quesadilla. It’s absolutely worth it. Just make sure you don’t come on Friday cause it’s not on the Friday night menu and they won’t make it.

Went here for all the Badger Basketball games. I kept going because it seemed to be working. Out of bounds Ruben Eggrolls. Really good Cod Ruben sandwich. Nothing wanted me to get another pint of Guinness more and stay for a bit longer. Come for the food and stay for the neighborhood atmosphere.

On my first visit – Friday night fish fry. 6:30pm. All out of walleye. So soon? Second visit – service was super slow despite only a few tables with patrons. My wife had a Reuben sandwich and it was noticeably smaller than our previous visit. Too small. My steak was also small and too much like institutional food. Nothing special and bland. We live fairly close and would have loved this place to be our«go to place,» but no chance of us going back. Two fails and there are enough other places to frequent.

This place is always good. Food and drink specials every night. The Ruben is excellent. And the fish fry. Really friendly people.

Stared with potato soup — added bacon n cheese. Low cal 4 sure! Went Wirth beef Rubin — lite rye bread — cole slaw to stay away from potato’s. Ps 4 Rubin to select from. Rubin haven.

I really wanted to give this place more stars, but considering I went for Friday Fish Fry and left disappointed, I can not. Started with the clam chowder. On the plus side, you could tell they put clams in the chowder. But it was very bland. No seasoning. I never use salt but had to add salt and lots of pepper, and it remained bland. Ordered the cod and fries. The cod was also very bland. No seasoning whatsoever in the breading and dripping with grease. The coleslaw was ok. Fries were just plain fries, no salt, just fries. All the food tasted as though it was made for maybe an older crowd… However, the staff was great! When I walked in I was greeted by several waitresses. Our waitress was very nice and courteous. Always apologizing for interrupting our conversation when she checked on us. Didn’t rush us out. When we left, all the staff we bumped into asked if we enjoyed ourselves and wished us a good night. It is unfortunate that the food wasn’t half as pleasing as the staff was.

This restaurant was recommended to us by Milwaukee area natives, as a great place to go in the area, and they were right! The atmosphere is fun and homey, and the food delicious and filling. My husband and I ordered Shepherds Pie and Pot Roast, both of which were very tasty. We enjoyed the Irish draft beers we were served, Smitty’s and Guiness. The server was very nice and helpful. If we are ever in Milwaukee again, we will definitely eat here again!

Came on a Friday night as was surprised to find no wait! The only down side was the very limited Friday night menu. That didn’t ruin our experience though. My family order fish fry along with the grilled salmon special. The service was prompt and the food came in no time! We plan to come back again to try their famous Reuben’s.

This is my new favorite corned beef spot(to be honest, everything looked delectable).tender, juicy, no fat and a huge portion. The thousand island tasted homemade. Our waitress told us Thursdays are two for $ 15. We will definitely be back.

Thursday dinner special is two Reuben sandwiches for $ 15. Starting with a pint of Guinness the dinner was on our table in short order with fries and onion rings. Ambiance is a stellar match for the Irish pub theme. The entire experience was very pleasant. This was our first visit and we were not disappointed, we will be back. i

Easily one of the best bars on this side of town. As far as the food goes, I’ve only had a few things to tide me over as I drank — the soup(tomato basil is amazing), the onion rings(hand-dipped, worth their weight in fried gold), the wraps(buffalo chicken = yes!), and the ribs(better then Brew City down the road). Okay, so maybe I’ve had more food there than I thought. But as far as I’m concerned, that’s just a side benefit. Look around and you just don’t see any other bars try this hard to be a great bar. Yes, great servers, great bartenders, a comfortable décor, local color galore, but IMO you really see the place shine on nights like when there’s a big packer game and everything they do(with the assistance of their great sound system) to keep people jacked up and having fun(including free shots on TDs). Or go there on their trivia night, which is IMHO one of the best in town(«ham-JUICE!»). Or on a holiday(when they’ll often have a potluck or free food). They give the place a great energy. Throw in great prices, great food specials, great drink specials, $ 5 pitcher night, and you can’t really get much better.

Great food, superb bartenders and waitstaff, and a great place to watch sports. I’m shocked at the negative reviews T&D’s has received on here. I highly recommend the County Kerry burger, Buffalo Bites, and their signature Reuben. You won’t be disappointed.
