Zappy’s Auto Washes

Been trying to redeem the pre paid detailing I bought on line– unfortunately their website has very vague directions. The people working were very unhelpful and told us they couldn’t help us— then I tried to call their location and for 4 days it just went to voicemail and no one ever returned my call. When I called their corporate number I was treated horribly– they had no idea why I would be upset that no one returns their messages left on voicemail. Never an apology. Zero customer service. I will never go there again. Save your money. I should have known better once I saw they don’t take appointments.

Great Wash & Detail Service!!! Friendly Staff!!! Great Deals!!! Zappy’s does a fabulous job. They detailed my old car before I traded it in. I got too dollar on that trade. Recently had them detail my new car and I am ready the fight the winter elements salt and all. The staff is helpful and courteous every time I come for a wash.

I should“ve Unilocaled before I came here. I went here today for $ 10 wash and came home disappointed like many did. All of the back window did not get touched at all and still dirty so i have to wipe it down by myself with a towel. What they should have was an outside working person who wipes wet windows and body, which i was experienced at any auto wash in California. This is about the same or worse than Giant Eagle $ 4 auto wash. I was thinking, «I shoud’ve gone to detail wash» but, after seeing this review, I don’t think I waste my money to go back there. Only positive thing I can say was the place was clean and one of employees was very friendly. There I give them three stars.

I tried Zappy’s detailing service for the first time today and unfortunately, I must give them an unsatisfactory grade.
When I arrived, there was an open bay (of which there are 2) so I did not have to wait for them to start on my vehicle.
I ordered the:

My car is 1 year old and I keep it clean, but wanted the glass done and dashboard/​center console cleaned and «dressed» as the package I ordered indicates would be done.
The car was done in about 45 minutes. The guy said «it came out ok». I call shenanigans. I didn’t inspect until I got home but it barely looked touched! The first thing I noticed is that the rear view mirror wasn’t touched — still spotted and smeared. The condition of the dash top was the most disappointing thing of all. It looked like it had been wiped down with a dry paper towel. It certainly was not touched with a drop of cleaner or protectant like armor all. There were fibers and dust left all over it as though they dry wiped it. I really would have appreciated that «dashboard dressing» I paid for, fellas.
The glass also looked to have been wiped down haphazardly with a wet rag. No evidence of cleaning products used at all.
There were still a couple crumbs on the passenger seat. Apparently that «tornador vacuum» had issues this day. The carpets were vacuumed adequately.
Absolutely NO evidence of any type of cleaner or deodorizer had been used inside. If I owned this location (Mentor Ave, Mentor) I would be doing a little investigation into what the employees are doing and why they are not doing the job requested.
I will NOT be using Zappy’s detailing services again. It was a disappointment and a waste of my hard earned money.
I tried Zappy’s because it is so close to my home, but going forward, I will continue to have my vehicles detailed at the place I have gone to for years. They always do a meticulous job… EVERY TIME! (See my review of the other place)

I also bought the detailing package from Living Social. I bought two in fact. The first one I waiting for 3 hours for them to do my car. Then my husband tried three times to get his done each time being told that the wait would be three hours or more. He gave the voucher back to me to see if I could finally use it and when I went I was told that the wait would be two hours but if anyone paying real money came in I would be bumped back again! Warning do not buy gift cards or detailing packages for Zappy’s in Mentor because they do not care!

I tried to go here twice for a detail that I bought through Living Social. The first time I was told it will be a 3 hour wait and the second time I tried I was told it will be a 6 hour wait until they could even begin to clean my car. And they do not accept appointments for auto details which is absolutely insane for a service that takes 2 hours to complete. Like most Americans I work and cannot spend an entire day at the car wash as appealing as that may sound. Fortunately, I was able to get a refund on the voucher because I didn’t feel like rolling the dice again to find out the next time it would be an 8 hour wait.

I bought the coupon and took it for detailing and wash. They did a great job with it :) My boyfriend had a dirty car and they cleaned it and returned a great final product!
