Faith Lutheran Church provides a clear message of salvation through Christ alone. We have vibrant music ensembles and opportunities for those that want to use their musical talents to praise God. There is an adult choir, bell choir, contemporary music ensemble and a variety of other opportunities to enjoy various types of music both as a listener and as a performer.

Worship is important to us, and we try to ensure that everything we do is to the glory of God. We also enjoy variety of fellowship opportunities: youth group, young adult fellowship, adult fellowship. Each of these groups participate in activities designed so they can share in Christian fellowship.

History

Established in 1959.

Located in Mentor Ohio, Faith Lutheran is a member of the Lutheran Church — Missouri Synod. The church, founded in 1959 by a handful of families, continues to be a loving congregation, committed to serving both this community and the world. Jesus Christ is our Chief Cornerstone. Without His saving grace, we would be lost. We believe, teach, and confess that only our faith in Christ saves us. As a response to His love, we live to praise and worship Him. In so doing, we care for and support one another spiritually and physically in the good times and the difficult times of life. Meet the Manager

Rev. Dr. Kevin G.

Manager

Pastor Guynn shares the pastoral responsibilities with Rev. Ronald Le Pere. Pastor Le Pere is semi-​retired, and works at the church on a part-​time basis, after having served the congregation full-​time for almost 25 years. Rev. Guynn is a second career pastor coming to this position from the field of educational administration. Both pastors attended Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO. Both men have a servant’s heart and try to let others know of the love Christ has for all people.

Pastor Guynn has an interest in family ministry, especially supporting marriages. He and his wife are Marriage Encounter Presenters. Marriage Encounter is a weekend program designed to make good marriages stronger. He also stresses the importance of family ministries and his educational background is ideal when working with children and youth.
