Ocean Freight

Our international correspondents and consolidators, with over four decades of facilitating ocean cargo services, provide the highest level of communication and coordination with our customers. You can trust On Demand to make sure your ocean freight gets where it’s going safely and on time.

As we serve as an experienced freight forwarding agent, we will oversee customs clearance, all risk marine insurance placement, information technology services, local dray, and customs classifications. Filing export declarations, pick up, and delivery at in-​land.

History

Established in 2009.

After working together in the logistics industry for over a decade, co-​owners Greg Beaudry and Scott Spenner established On Demand Transportation Services in spring of 2009. Despite the risk of becoming new business owners during such difficult economic times, Greg and Scott felt obligated to provide a service that better met the needs of their customers. Quickly establishing a satisfied domestic customer base, the partners realized that more could be offered to their clients. During the summer of 2010, the established truck brokerage underwent extensive training/​testing and acquired T.S.A. certification to serve as an international freight forwarder. The expansion allowed On Demand Transportation Services to become a one-​stop-​shop for nearly all shipping needs and meet customer expectations better than ever before. Now utilizing state-​of-​the art freight management technology, On Demand’s customers are able to instantly receive quotes, book freight, and track/​trace real time shipments.
