Johnson’s Nursery

This is a very large nursery with good selection of plants, shrubs, and trees in Menomonee Falls a short distance from Silver Springs Road. This is not your standard retail garden store. They are set up for contractors, there primary customers. It was a drizzly, cold day so our sales person offered us a ride on the golf cart to take a look at the shrubs we were interested in purchasing. They had a wide variety to choose from and all looked healthy and cared for. We ended up buying 3 spirea and 2 forsythia and had them delivered and planted. The shrubs were reasonably priced, but the planting will cost $ 40 per bush! That seems pretty steep, so I recommend planting them yourself if you have the time and equipment.
I would have liked to wander around and see all the types of plants in the greenhouses, but the weather was not conducive to that. I will definitely return some day when the weather is nicer.
