Mr. Yourtz came highly recommended to me from a private judge who we had used in our preliminary divorce proceedings. I was entering my fifth year of family legal matters and was very emotional and apprehensive about devoting more time and money to this case. Dealing with lawyers is sticky and anxiety-​inducing. You’re putting a lot into their hands! I’ve had my moments when Ian has made me nervous. Sometimes he kind of does his own thing and makes decisions for you, but that has ended up saving me– he has your best interest in mind, and he will protect you. He is beyond a good person, and he cares. He truly cares. He is honest with me and has told me things that are so true, that I hadn’t thought of. He knows what he’s doing and he understands what’s going on, he can correctly analyze a situation very quickly. Knowing him now, I strongly doubt he would stand by you or fight for you if you were being dishonest or a bad person. So if you’re trying to fight dirty and be shady, maybe he’s not the guy for you. But if you need help with your family matters and you are coming from a place of honesty and good intention, Ian will 100% fight for you and help keep you strong. He won’t let anyone scare you or push you around. He would tell you if you were wrong, and he points out when the opposing party is wrong and why, when maybe you wouldn’t see it as clearly. He will reassure you and he will actually care about you and the outcome of your situation. He is easy to reach and responds promptly, and he feels comfortable and confident in the decisions that he makes and the advice that he gives. He doesn’t grasp at straws or waste time doing things that are unnecessary, he’s straight to the point, and I love that about him. So far, I feel I can’t have had a better experience with an attorney. He’s one of the few good ones, that’s for certain.

Mr Yourtz is a brilliant attorney! He helped me with a custody issue. I do believe change is also good when dealing with these issues. I did change attorneys but not from inadequate services but for monetary reasons. He a top line attorney but expensive.
