Chris, Anna, Gabriella & their amazing staff went so far above and beyond the call on Saturday! We had a bachelorette emergency as our location inconveniently «lost» our reservation just as 8 girls from around the Bay were on their way to visit. Gabriella calmly took in our entire party at the last minute and Chris and Anna helped to figure out how to treat our group to massages, facials, beautiful baths and fantastic service in the most beautiful spa location at the very last minute! What gems. I can’t wait go to back with a proper appointment and spend a lot of time there getting pampered. Massage gold, here! Thank you so much for some amazing lasting memories!

The place and everything was nice and small but as for the massage… It was ok. Schedule a couple massage and I was looking forward to coming here but the massage therapist I got didn’t really work much on my problem area even though I told her when she asked. She seems new to me but she was very nice but I was very disappointed on my massage. Overall it was a nice place but the massage wasn’t a wow for me. maybe it was just the person I got.

I took my teen in for a facial for acne. Faye was great. I got to watch and could see the dead skin and junk coming off of her skin. She had a nice glow to her afterwards, and Faye also did a great job threading her eyebrows and upper lip. Thank you!

We loved it here mainly because the massages were the best we each have experienced. My wife said Dario was incredible! I haven’t seen Dario yet, but I trust her evaluation. She’s discerning! I had Clarissa and wow just fantastic. Definitely will go back & regularly!

Dario is hands down (pun intended) the best massage therapist I have been to. I have been a client of Dario’s for several years now and he is simply the best. He has the perfect amount of pressure — firm, steady and therapeutic — and can find your trouble spots immediately. He is professional, kind and such a pleasure to see. I would ‘t hesitate to recommend him… in fact I have recommended him to my friends, sister and my mom! Book in advance! His schedule fills up quickly.

I recently found out that my massage therapist who I have gone to for 3 years in
San Francisco has moved to Spa in the Park. Dario is a great massage therapist, he really concentrates on all your needs. Every time I had a massage with him I walk out feeling GREAT!

The Bay Area is so fortunate to have the best massage therapist Dario Cordova and he has recently moved to this fine location. I’ve been going to Dario for 4 years while he was at Spa Jadore in union square, and once he let me know he had changed establishments it wasn’t even a hesitation of mine to not follow him,
He’s the best, deep tissue work, muscle tension, relaxation, cupping and stretching work.
You can’t schedule enough in advance for him, so when you fall in love… Which you will … make sure to schedule in advance after your first session!
Nothing but great words to describe Dario’s professionalism and work ethic.

I had a fabulous experience here, I got a facial with Ania. I was unfortunately late (stuck in traffic) but the spa concierge was very gracious, and Ania was still able to give me a thorough and fabulous facial! She is amazing. I wish I had had more time to explore — the facility looks very tranquil! I had not heard about this spa until I purchased a Living Social voucher, and I’m so glad I found them, I will be back!

Very mediocre facial experience. I remember the quality of service was much better when I had been there couple of years ago. Since I keep getting reminder email from the spa to visit again, I went in expecting that level of service and it has gone down a lot. Very disappointing. It’s five star down to two star!

Really wonderful massage experience. The staff was friendly and professional and the amenities were clean and comfortable. I am very tense in my shoulders and neck so I asked my masseuse to pay special attention to that area. She applied the perfect amount of pressure and I felt like a new person afterward. I will definitely go back.

I absolutely loved this Spa. First off I had Didi as my massage therapist for a 90 min massage & I was so satisfied with her service. Didi focused more on my neck and shoulders as requested. I will definitely be here again. Also as prices go I think it’s affordable compared to other places in Palo Alto that I have been to and Were okay. I soooo recommend this place. My sister had Clarisa as her massage therapist and she said she was amazing!!!

Got a couples massage here, paid extra for deep tissue and was pretty disappointed. I’m not shocked given the spa appearance but still underwhelmed with both of our massage therapists ability. May be a fine nail/​spa whatever but save your massage money and go somewhere that has actual trained massage therapists.

Pleasantly surprised! I have been looking for a good spa and bought a Groupon to try this place out. After reading the reviews, I wasn’t sure how things would go… but am pleased to say it was a great experience.
I called to make an appointment and the phone was picked up right away. I told the receptionist I had a Groupon and there was no problem or hesitation in redeeming it. She was able to get me an appointment for two days later.
Arrived a couple of minutes early at the location. Easy to find parking. Greeted immediately and taken to the locker room. I chose not to change into a rob /​slippers but glad to see that was an option.
Ati was new and was waiting for me. She was GREAT. Diagnosed my skin and applied the right concoction. My skin felt great and glowed afterwards. The best part though were her massages. Estheticians usually give terrible massages (weak hands and weak fingers) but she got an A+ in that department.
Can’t wait to go again!

Wonderful Spa in Menlo Park. I have been 4 times now and each time everyone is consistently amazing. Anna is my Favorite. She does such a great job I literally fell asleep. I didn’t leave feeling as bad as I did coming in. She worked out the knots and relaxed my muscles and stopped the spasms. Great atmosphere and clean and soothing.

I’m a very satisfied regular at this spa. I work nearby, and love the quiet location of the place — parking is a breeze. This review is for two amazing women who are the best around for what they do: Marina (massage therapist) and Faye (aesthetician).
Marina is petite, but she’s startlingly strong and knows how to leverage her body weight/​pressure adeptly. Two notable things: first, I came in a couple of months ago with a neck/​shoulder injury (pulled levator scapulae) and a host of related problems across my neck, shoulders and back exacerbated by the physical demands of my job as a yoga instructor. An hour-​and-​a-​half deep tissue with Marina *cured* me. I stopped having back spasms, my pain and tightness evaporated into thin air, and my spine sprung back into optimal alignment (only a slight exaggeration). Also, I’m very ticklish and need a firm, decisive hand for my bodywork lest I squirm and cry-​laugh in skin-​crawling agony — Marina is a pro. She is intuitive, a natural healer and just generally a total sweetheart who truly listens and works wonders. Highly recommend, especially if you are an athlete in need of a solid sports massage.
I can’t forget Faye. I have had my eyebrows done by, at this point in my life, about 236,838,597 different people in nearly as many different ways, and nobody can touch the quality of Faye’s work. She somehow makes my eyebrows look fuller but, you know, groomed and whatnot, and is so funny and easy to talk to that you almost forget that threading… Hurts. A lot. She’s extremely talented, and it’s pretty amazing what a difference a great pair of eyebrows can make for your whole face. Love Faye!

My prior aesthetician told me about Spa in the Park and I’m so glad she did. I bought a series after my first visit (today was my second facial) and I am very pleased with Ania. So relaxing. I really tried not to fall asleep, but I think I did today. Hopefully, I didn’t snore.
This is my new spot for my monthly facial. The spa is simple, beautiful, and clean. Lockers and a shower are available. While you wait, there is tea in the lounge area.

Had one of the best facials with Annia (sorry if misspelling) my skin was smooth for couple weeks def going back soon. Also had a massage with a lady that I forgot her name it was a very good massage nothing outstanding but very good :)

UPDATE 2÷20÷15: I am happy to update this review with good news. Chris Mascarin, Director of Spa in the Park, was very quick to correct the situation within 24 hours as was my husband’s masseuse, Ana. We were also charged for what our initial appointment was scheduled for (60 minute massage), which is reflected on our bank account today (delay due to President’s Day weekend). Communication goes a long way and so glad that this was able to be resolved in a timely matter.
2÷15÷15 — My first and 2^nd experiences were great. Unfortunately, the experience we had today had nothing to do with the therapists, more of how everything was managed. I had a prenatal massage with Ana a couple weeks ago and had a wonderful experience that I scheduled my husband for a Swedish massage 2 weeks later. Before my initial prenatal massage, Ana asked if it would be OK for another therapist to observe my prenatal massage. I was totally fine with that and was told after my massage that I would get a $ 25 discount certificate (which my husband used for today’s visit). When I made the appt with the receptionist, the manager was at the reception desk and I asked to schedule a 60 MINUTE SWEDISH MASSAGE. When my husband got there today, they did a 90 MINUTE MASSAGE and then somehow added a DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE charge with out clarifying with my husband if that is what he needed. When you’re in the massage room, there is not a clock where we can see if our 60 minute time is up — otherwise my husband would have said something. When we called them back after the appointment, they said that manager would be in touch. We hope that the manager does follow through. Needless to say, this doesn’t sit well with us… I hope to update this review with good news sometime soon.

I received a gift certificate for my birthday for Spa In the Park. I had the most AMAZING massage by Marina! This is a very nice and clean spa, the staff are friendly and helpful. Great location and easy to find parking. Definitely coming back!

Dear Nice Lady Up Front:
Stop running around trying to find a robe that will fit my rotund ass… geez. Embarrassing. I don’t *need* a robe for my massage, because, pro tip, Imma be nekkid for the massage. Having you search for a robe that will fit me just makes me feel like my plush booty doesn’t belong in this swank establishment.
That said, this place was super soothing and my massage therapist was wonderful. I loved the offer of tea and the lovely changing facilities.
