Sarah did the makeup for me and my bridal party on my wedding day. She went above and beyond to do an incredible job. She created a schedule for our hair and makeup, offered a great consultation appointment, and was in touch with me throughout the wedding planning process and available for me to discuss ideas for makeup.
She has a great selection of makeup and is very organized and detail-​oriented. She is a Type A makeup artist and so easy to talk to. She planned for every detail.
Sarah is very kind, warm, professional, and talented. Everyone looked so wonderful and was so happy with her work. I look forward to having Sarah do my makeup for several events in the future and have already been recommending her to friends and family! We love Sarah!

Sarah did my makeup for my wedding, and did a great job! I’m always hesitant to have anyone else do my hair or makeup, and my everyday look is pretty low maintenance, so I was a little scared that I’d end up looking overly done up for my wedding, or wouldn’t look like myself. Sarah did a nice job of doing my makeup in a way that was definitely above and beyond my «normal» daily makeup, but in a way that looked really natural to me. I suppose that’s why I wanted to have someone do my makeup on such a special day — so that my makeup looked extra good for all those hundreds of photos! I also appreciated that she calculated in that she was applying my makeup early in the morning, but my wedding wasn’t until the afternoon. So as my makeup was fading, it looked best right around the time of my wedding.
Sarah was such a nice presence in the midst of a really full day, too. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a professional makeup artist for any special event.

I’m having Sarah do my makeup for my wedding in October and we did the trial in May — I loved it! I heard about Sarah through a family friend. I’m getting married in July and I needed to hire a makeup artist. The minute I spoke with her, I knew it was going to be a great experience. I had the most amazing experience with Sarah having my trial make up done before my son’s upcoming wedding. Sarah made me feel very comfortable with her calm demeanor and sweet personality. I think this is important on the wedding day to have someone who will be a calming influence as I prepare for this special day. I was completely thrilled with the way she did my make up! After going back and forth between wanting to do my own makeup and hiring a professional to do it, I thought it’d be best just to relax on my wedding day, and hire someone that would use high-​quality makeup to last all day.
After meeting Sarah and doing a trial, the choice was easy. She is kind, professional, honest, helpful, and a person you want around you on your big day. She’s calm and light-​hearted and fun!
The whole process, from start to finish, was easy and I felt taken care of throughout. Sarah was prompt, offered to do my bridesmaids makeup, and stayed with me until we left for the ceremony. Sarah even threw in a few little gifts for me to hold onto, for touch ups throughout the day. So sweet. I felt pretty and like myself, not overdone, and I was really content with how I looked in all of our photos, even ones that were taken toward the end of the night.

Sarah was AMAZING! She came to my sister’s hotel for her wedding. She did an absolutely beautiful and speedy job on our makeup. It neatly complimented each of our complexions and outfits and lasted the whole day and night, even through the dancing! Sarah was sweet and helpful, and I loved that I wasn’t sitting in a chair for hours but still looked fabulous and got many compliments. Thank you, thank you!

After hitting a few roadblocks while trying to find a makeup artist for my wedding, I was fortunately referred to Sarah and am so glad she was available to help. She came to the venue and did my makeup as well as my sister’s. Both of us looked glamorous but not over-​done, and the makeup looked amazing in photos. I was also surprised how long it lasted — I did a brief touch up after the ceremony (for oil control!), but it held beautifully through the evening. Sarah is very talented and so kind, I would highly recommend her for your wedding makeup!

Sarah did the make up for my wedding for 10 women (bride, 8 bridesmaids, and MOB). She and her assistant did an amazing job. Prior to the big day, Sarah took the time to do not one, but two make up trials to ensure that I was comfortable with the makeup and look. I generally do not wear a lot of make up (typical day is light powder foundation, blush, eyeliner and mascara) and I didn’t want to feel too «made up» on my wedding day, but I still wanted enough make up so it showed up in pictures. Sarah struck the perfect balance. She also worked with me to match my skin tone (incredibly pale white) and to avoiding products I know I have issues with (like blushes turning orange over the course of a few hours). Sarah and her assistant also worked with all my bridesmaids and my mother to ensure they were all comfortable with their make up look and were willing to tailor to the extent someone wanted a bit more or less make up or to accentuate certain features.
Sarah is also extremely responsive via email, punctual and her and her assistant finished the 10 of us early on the wedding day, which was great so that we could relax a bit and weren’t rushing to the next agenda item.

Sarah did my makeup for my TEDx talk. As someone who does a lot of TV, I work with a lot of makeup artists, and Sarah is right up there with the pros. She made me look GREAT! Hey, judge for yourself and watch —

I’ve had to pleasure of working with Sarah at several events. I originally met her as a client. I’m a hairstylist and also a makeup artist, so I met her after she was referred to me by another gorgeous blonde. :)
She mentioned she was a makeup artist, and after getting to know her I decided I’d start partnering up with her for events. I’ve worked with her at multiple weddings. She, like myself, is always overprepared, on time and looks the part. I’ve worked events where the photographer or another stylist or artist shows up looking like they rolled out of bed… in my eyes looking the part is just as important as the services you’re providing, so I’m pleased she feels the same way!
She is also extremely talented, and the sweetest, kindest person you will ever meet. She also has an upbeat personality about her. Her bubbly-​ness always is soothing to any chaos or nerves that comes with any wedding day.
All said, book Sarah, you will be so happy you did. I forever will be in debt to the client who referred her to me… I got much more than a client. I got a true gem I know I can depend on as a partner for any weddings or special events I sign on to. :)

I absolutely LOVE getting my makeup done with Sarah. I have gone to Sarah for every prom and formal I have had, and I’m lucky enough to have had her do my makeup for college events as well. Sarah is my go-​to girl. She always makes me feel beautiful. HIGHLY recommend :)

I have been going to Sarah for makeup for over 4 years now. She is wonderful to work with, and is super helpful. Very knowledgeable about different skin types and products that won’t clog pores easily. I have very sensitive skin, and have a natural red hue. Sarah did a wonderful job of teaching me how to apply different make up and foundation properly to my sensitive face. I now have wonderful products that I have purchased from her, and use them every day!
Sarah is very accommodating and helpful in any way. I highly recommend going to Sarah for any make over for events, or even just a make up consolation. I found Sarah through Unilocal as i was looking for make up artists for my wedding last week, and going ahead with her was the best choice I made wrt my wedding preparation. I was wearing a simple red dress for the wedding, which was a simple court wedding at San Mateo court with close friends and relatives.
I first sent a mail to Sarah and she called me up immediately, we set up time for a trial make up. She also helped me pick up stuff to match my dress and other accessories at the Nordstrom, Stanford Mall store. Her charges are very reasonable and you get more than what you pay for, quite honestly :)
On the day of the wedding she was extremely punctual and was at the hotel i was staying at 7 30 am with all her gear — she was extremely professional and easy to be with. Sarah is very attentive and goes out of her way to accommodate and make you feel special. Her make up was immaculate and enhanced my face — and i have never received so many compliments ever before :)

Sarah is wonderful! She did my makeup for a wedding that I was attending. She did a fabulous job, especially on my eye makeup. I will definitely call her again when I want to feel glamorous for a special occasion :)
