I really really like this hole in the wall BBQ joint. They have been here for 7 years! Their Korean food is delicious. We had the galbi & bibimbap w/beef. It was made fresh and so so delicious! Apparently they also make American BBQ. Seems like a legit mom & pop shop. I am definitely coming back here again!

This place has both Korean dishes intertwined with American fare. The few times I’ve been here I’ve usually ordered their bbq beef sandwich. The beef is tender and is nicely marinated. It’s put on a soft roll with aioli with a salad with light dressing. It’s so simple and very filling. Instead of eating it there, I’ll take it across the street to the park and have lunch there. There are limited tables inside and there is counter seating as well as outdoor seating. It’s a mom and pop place with the wife cooking and the man taking orders. I haven’t explored other options since their sandwich is so good.

Solid little place to grab some Bbq take out or sandwiches. Run by a kindly Korean couple who make you want to be a patron just to support them. The Korean BBQ sandwich was a bit salty — go with the spicy pork plate instead.

I love Menlo BBQ. These people are legit. The beef plate is my go to lunch whenever I go there. Keep it up.

Nearly a BBQ shack, but better in every way. They do some basic Korean and American BBQ dishes, and they do them extremely well. Usually patrons order ahead of time to go, but it’s worth staying to eat either inside or on the patio! 10/10, will eat again

I always enjoy my visits to Menlo BBQ. The atmosphere isn’t «date night material», by any means, but the best part about that is that it doesn’t TRY to be. You see what you get with Menlo BBQ and the tasty food speaks for itself. The portions are great. This is one of the few truly yummy go-to’s for a quick lunch on Willow.

This place has the best bibimbap with fried egg! It really is a pretty discreet place on Willow Rd and you can easily miss it. The parking lot isn’t huge, but I haven’t had a problem finding parking. There’s outdoor and indoor seating and I like to grab outdoor seats for lunch on a nice day out. Get their bibimbap! It comes with purple rice, spicy chicken, and a lot of vegetables like spinach, bean sprouts, eggplant, cauliflower, etc. I’m sure they switch it up depending on the season. The other grill items on their menu looks good too, but I’ve always just stuck with the bibimbap. The prices are pretty decent for Menlo Park. Also, download the Orderahead app so you can order ahead and be in and out if you’re in a rush!

I needed food and didn’t feel like a carnitas burrito or a subway sandwich. This was closest to where I was, so I thought I give it a try. You can’t really go wrong with KBBQ right? This place is tucked in a corner on Willow, but it’s right across from the willow gas station. They do have their own parking lot, which is great, one way in one way out. It’s also across from a Sutter Health facility. Interior is quite small, supposedly it was a small fast food place before. A few seats inside, bar counter to order. They have some seating outside, so we’re not crammed inside. I ordered take out, I like the comfort of eating at home in small places like this. The pricing for what I ordered was on the higher end, Gal-bi(short ribs), but I didn’t feel like American BBQ, which is kind of weird to have at a Korean place. Probably catering to the demographics in the area. I was getting a skeptical as I kept reading the reviews AFTER I placed the order. No one really spoke about the Galbi so just wondering how my plate would look like. I took a quick peek when he handed it to me, not bad! Got home and started chowing down, but of course I took pictures of the portions for you guys. The portion is not bad at all, but still maybe a $ 1 or $ 2 too much? I mean, I have had better KBBQ elsewhere. Flavor is okay, nothing special. I’ve made better KBBQ. The total with tax came out to be $ 18.50. That’s kind of pricey for lunch. And if you were to eat there with tip… $ 20. Probably not worth it IMO, but I wanted it so it was okay. I wouldn’t come back unless you work around the area and need a quick lunch. Oh also, I wasn’t tooo excited about my hot meats on top of my salad. I had somewhat of a warm meaty salad.

I’ve been here several times over the past few years. The good news — the food is still amazing. The bad news — there is none! The bulgogi burger is still AMAZING. Excellent bun, great lettuce and tomato, the right mix of sauces. The onion is a must — even for the haters — it is sweet, with only the barest hint of flavor. It add a nice crunch and doesn’t linger on the palate. The meat and cheese — an amazing combo! Great quality meat set off by the spice and creaminess of the pepperjack. Meat worth eating.

The didn’t turn the heater on, I was freezing. Ordered to go. Spicy pork sandwich was very Good. Very tasty. Like orange flavored dressing. On the just lettuce salad Expensive for the cold No atmosphere place. Food great. Not very comfortable to sit and eat And I get better value and ambiance at Mardini’s across the street. I’ll probably try the burger next time.

I ordered the Ribs and they were very dry, overly burnt, and overly expensive. It was so bad, I took a few bites and threw the rest in the garbage. Will never come back. Also I ordered a hambuger, which was acceptable.

I always passed by this place when driving to the local market. Decided to finally try this place to get my Korean BBQ fix. Ordered online for pick up via Overhead. After, I received a call that it will take about 15 minutes more for our food to be ready for pick up. I really didn’t mind and thought it was really nice they had called. When my friends and I got there, there was another 10 minute wait. The place was a bit crowded, glad we made the decision to order to-go than dine-in. The Spicy Pork was soooooo good! It was a bit more spicy than expected, but I love surprises and spice! They have their own parking lot, but get here early. Parking can be a hit and miss…

I stopped into this neighborhood spot this evening and was pretty happy with the result. Upon glancing at the menu, I felt a little overwhelmed. Not only was there a full range of traditional American BBQ options but also Korean BBQ options as well. I suddenly didn’t know what to order and so I asked for a recommendation. Spicy Korean chicken was not what I thought I was going to be eating tonight, but it was great. I ordered it to go and when I popped open the container at home, I was surprised by how much food was in there. I expected a small salad and a handful of rice, but these adjectives are far too minimizing. There was also a huge amount of chicken, to the point where I certainly couldn’t finish it all. Oh, well… Lunch for tomorrow!

This restaurant sits randomly on the busy Willow Rd, in the middle of houses and a park. I missed it the first time I drove there but no matter, the food makes up for it. I usually come here for lunch and around 12pm it can get kind of busy. Closer to 12:30pm though, it clears up. It is a Korean fusion kind of place that caters to the more a more American audience it seems. Not in the sense that the food is average like«chinese» chow mein restaurants, but in the sense that the food is carefully made and presented and the service is fantastic. I usually get the bibimbap and I think I will continue to get it for awhile. The ingredients are cooked to order and fresh. You get purple rice with your bibimbap and a solid helping of vegetables and meat. Perfect for a weekday lunch. You can choose to sit inside or outside under the umbrella’d picnic benches and it really is a great place to relax a bit before going back into work. It may not be the most authentic Korean meal you’ll find in the area but it will do for a quick bite.

If you love America, you’ll love this place. Like America, this place has a mixture of cultures and does them well. I had the teriyaki chicken sandwich and garlic fries. It was $ 16, so not cheap, but great quality and great portions! Stuffed. It’s an old-school feel, with the bathroom in the back and well-worn furniture and décor. The food was legit, and the staff was nice. I’ll be back for sure!

Menlo BBQ is a small BBQ joint on Willow right off the 101. The building seats about 15 – 20 people inside w room at the counter for about another 5. They have seating outside. It gets a little congested when you are trying to order during lunch hours. This place is ran by a Korean family, they offer Korean plates like bibimbap, spicy chicken plates, and spicy chicken sandwiches. They also offer classic BBQ plates like chicken, hot links, brisket, etc. Ive only ordered the Korean food, and I really enjoy the Gochujang spicy chicken sandwich. The plate comes w a simple salad with a very good orange vinaigrette, the fresh orange really comes through. They pre-cook the chicken to help with the lunch crowd, or I’d bump them up to 4.5 Never tried the BBQ, might try some brisket and hot links next time and update this review.

Seriously? For almost $ 20 I got the smallest portion I’ve seen from a BBQ place. I gave it an extra star only because it was delicious. I regret having it delivered by the awesome door dash team. It’s hard to justify having this place on the list of restaurants that deliver.

They should consider changing the name of this place to Menlo Korean BBQ — A Korean Twist on American Classics. Case in point: the Bulgogi Burger with Garlic Fries. The worst thing about a hamburger is when the meat is overcooked and dry. Fortunately, bulgogi — even when cooked thoroughly — is still juicy and tender. Problem solved! The burger was great: juicy and filled with flavor. The Garlic Fries also being amazing was frosting on the cake!

Menlo BBQ is a family-run Korean American BBQ joint offering everything from KBBQ to teriyaki, Texas pulled pork to Southern BBQ. Food is made to order. You can see the owners cooking the meat on the grill behind the counter. The restaurant is small, and indoor seating is pretty cramped, so if you need a little more space, there is also outdoor patio seating. Food: — Bulgogi Burger — Tender Korean BBQ beef with melted pepper jack cheese and lettuce. The meat was very tasty! The bun is actually a ciabatta roll. I really enjoyed the texture of this bread with the KBBQ meat! Comes with really delicious house-made hand-cut fries! Yum! — Short Rib Galbi Plate — Comes with rice, salad, and kimchi/radish in a bento box. The galbi was flavored really well and was not too chewy. They use Korean black rice(purple in color), which is known to be high in nutritional value! They also give a generous portion of salad. Overall, good food and friendly service but pricey for lunch, so I’ll probably only come here once in a while.
