I brought a brass table lamp in to be rewired and they sat on it for more than a month without doing anything. When I called, they claimed a needed part was unavailable, so I told the lady in the shop that I would come in to pick up the lamp and take it someplace else. When I did so, she tried to claim that the work had actually been done and to get me to pay for it. It was obvious that no work had been done on the lamp — something that was corroborated by the shop I later took it to that actually fixed it. I found them disorganized at best and dishonest at worst. Avoid.

they lied that the part was unavailable… the company failed to return the call so they told me the lamp was discontinued and no part Is available… Rosa is no asset to this company… I will avoid in the future… you should too.

Like most of the other reviews, I had nothing but fantastic customer service from the moment I walked into this store. We had a pretty complicated order (Rosa) with a difficult installation (Robert) and it was handled smoothly and efficiently for a price that could not be beat. I would give 6 stars if possible. Moving on to another room soon and will be using this place with these 2 again!

I had a really good experience with Light Point. The advice from Rosa on design was terrific and Robert did a great job with installation, offering creative solutions to some challenges that came up. The service was good, the price/​value was good. The result is beautiful. I would use them again.

Robert — I spoke with the lady in your office who answered the phone and indicated to her my extreme disappointment with the way our order was handled. You had led me to believe a 1 – 2 week delivery schedule, and it is now four weeks since placing the order and our sending you the check promptly.
In return, we have received no updates on delays and when we have called, we have repeatedly been misinformed about the delivery dates. Now, we are paying additional costs in having to reschedule our installer and delay the completion of the remodel, and get the necessary permits to move.
Needless to say, we will not only not be using lightpoint again, but will make it a point to make our opinion known to others.

We bought an old and never-​refurbished Eichler in Palo Alto and used Light Point as a source for new under-​cabinet LED and monorail lighting. We have been thrilled with their products, their prices and their service. Monorails are not cheap, but Light Point was able to beat the price of our contracting electrician (who did all of the electrical upgrades on the house) by over $ 1200. Not only that, but Robert came out and helped us to design the system at no additional charge. He will let you ‘borrow’ various pendants and fixtures to try out in your own home, if he has them on display and has a great eye for what will and will not work.

I’m an Interior Designer at an architectural firm in Burlingame and we have been specifying lighting from them for years. Robert and Rosa are always very helpful. And, although prices sometimes are more competitive online, they always try to give us competitive & comparable pricing with their great ‘above & beyond’ local customer service – so, they are worth it!

My wife and I recently purchased a low voltage system for our dining room from Light Point. They have a great selection in a very nice showroom, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Robert (the owner) came out first to provide a consultation and recommend what would work best in our dining room. He tool care of electrician and installation, and we couldn’t be happier with the final product (3 pendants, 2 spotlights on a 2 circuit monorail). Great customer service and attention to detail.

You don’t even need narcotics to enjoy this store! Their assortment is a trip in itself! All the lights they display are turned on and most are hanging from the ceiling. It’s not the type of place you should go if you’re looking for a desk lamp, but if you want something that no one else will have, or are looking to outfit a kick ass bachelor pad, head here.
