Emily Chapman – State Farm Insurance Agent

I never met Emily in person, we had several phone conversations though. When I visited the office, first for setting things up with them and later regarding questions/​problems with a claim I always spoke with Jacqueline. If Jacqueline had her Unilocal page of her own I would give a five-​star to her as well.
I had a fire in my front deck and a big portion of a pretty big deck as well as a outdoor cooking area got completely ruined. The fire department arrived around 4:30AM in the morning and left around 5:30AM or so. I have Emily’s direct number and she says call me first instead of the 1 – 800 number. I felt like not calling her at 5:30AM Sunday morning and called the 1 – 800 number instead. It was just standard procedure that we went through on the phone with the State Farm associate, and after I hung up, I got a call from Emily around within 10 – 15 minutes asking me how we’re doing how she can help… That’s how much she cares. She quickly took some details from me and sent somebody to mitigate some damages right away (on a Sunday).
Long story short, when I talk to Emily or Jacqueline, I hang up the phone (or leave the office) feeling that things couldn’t have been handled any faster or better.

I switched to Emily from another State Farm Insurance agent when I heard she was going into the business.
this is an extremely proactive agent. they always give me options when I am renewing my insurance, and she always finds great ways to save me $$$$.
I was nervous when I switched my car insurance to her, because I was so happy with AAA. However, AAA was a third more expensive. With Emily, I get the same great service with lower cost. And since she has lived in the area since she was a little girl (except for college) I always trust her advice… she knows the peninsula in a way few others do.

I have been with this team for years, originally started out with Josh, but have spoken to probably everybody in this office at some point in time. Nothing bad I could say. Always friendly, always professional, always knowledgeable and always extremely helpful. I don’t write Unilocal reviews, but figured with the over 6 years of great customer service I have received from them, it was about time I shared my experience.

Fantastic experience with Lois, who helped me setup a homeowners policy on a newly-​purchased home. Her knowledgeable, professional advice and fast execution were critical in keeping us on schedule during a very quick close of escrow. I recommend her without reservation.

5 stars for my agent Jacqueline! She’s been an amazing agent for the last ~2 years. She is always looking to find me the best rates for insurance (auto, renters’). Whenever I have the slightest question, she is super fast in responding to my emails or phone calls, and she always has the answers to my queries. Always pleasant to talk to every time. (You know that she is amazing if I don’t need to keep calling/​emailing her. :))

She got me a great rate for my car and renters insurance and she’s always pleasant to talk to. I’ve been with her for years and she’s never let me down. I have been a State Farm client for almost 30 years. I signed on with Emily Cohen’s office about 6 years ago. I think that the thing that stands out the most is the level of attentiveness I get without asking for it… it’s like a natural part of all that work in this office that caring for the customer is first… always. Calls and emails get answered in a timely fashion, and seamlessly. Requests are tended to quickly. The employees are knowledgable and up to speed with daily applicable issues such as re-​fi requirements, crash reporting, legal issues, cost savings in premiums, etc. I highly recommend this office for all of your insurance needs. Oh, and they don’t try to sell things you don’t need; I have to admit that they looked at my profile on my first meeting and re tooled it to save me money… how can one not trust that kind of office. Finally, I have to add that I am the type who has had to use my coverage on a few occasions. There was no red tape, no stalling, just a get down to business, fix– it, make it all better attitude. So call them, drop in, check them out…

Emily and team have been my insurance carrier for fiveish years, and I could not be happier with the service, professionalism and hard work that goes into treating each of the clients like a family. I hate to be cliché, but «like a good neighbor» doesn’t even come close to how attentive and thorough this team is.
They have always been proactive — finding me discounts when I didn’t ask for them, calling to follow up on things I’d totally forgotten about and have been cheery and lovely to work with. You have never met someone who had more annoying questions than myself, and every. single. time. they treat me like question #1,041 is their absolute joy to answer.
Emily comes in on Saturdays to teach safe driving courses to teenagers and treats her employees like family, and they seem to really like working for her. (Not kidding. The one time I visited, I got a solid round of high fives from the team.) What’s not to love!!!
I’ve referred a handful of friends and will continue to do so with zero hesitation.
