AM Party Rentals

AM Party Rentals handled all of the rentals for my wedding in July. I ordered everything from chairs, tables, linens, flatware, plates, glassware, serving trays, and more! I worked with a few different members of their team, but Susan Salto was amazing! They have a wonderful (new) showroom and their prices are super competitive. They also don’t pressure you into getting things you won’t need or pricier options. They worked with my small budget and I was able to order all we needed, and stayed under budget. They dropped everything off right on time, set-​up the chairs and tables (small extra fee) and picked it up the next day. I have no complaints and would happily work with them again. Thank you AM for bringing my special day to life!
Note: They do run out of items (say if another part already reserved 400 white folding chairs and they only have 500 total) so order as soon as you can. I waited until the last minute to reserve my «kids tables» and I ran into this problem. Thankfully, they had other great options!

NO-​SHOW — I would give ZERO stars if I could. (My apologies for the delayed review.)
We were happy to find a highly-​rated company who offered what we needed at a competitive price. I was even pleased to hear from a coworker how much she loved AM Party Rentals and how great they were for her recent wedding.
Their arrival was contracted/​scheduled the morning of the wedding (approximately 9−11am). I even sent detailed directions to the venue (a private home in San Francisco) with several photos. I was told, however, these were never given nor relayed verbally to the delivery driver. By noon, they had not shown up and had not called.
When I called AM Party Rentals they said the driver skipped the delivery altogether to make another delivery putting them out of the area at least TWO HOURS. I can’t understand why they would do this but they promised they would deliver by 2:30pm. By 3:30pm, half an hour before the ceremony, I was forced to call and cancel. At this point we preferred having no chairs over having our wedding interrupted. Ultimately they didn’t show at all.
I can’t say this ruined our wedding. I will, however, say having no chairs for our ceremony made it no longer appear to be a wedding. Instead it looked like a bunch of people standing around. As hard as our photographer tried, the photos from our ceremony were useless. Our guests look as if they’re loitering.
While the refund and 15% discount they offered («for our next event») was a nice gesture,
I would never use their services again. I would never know if my order would show up. I’m glad we didn’t rely on AM Party Rentals for more than just chairs. I can’t imagine what would have happened had we ordered tables, table settings or more.

Reliable, easy to work with, and timely delivery and pick-​up. They have a great web site that lists everything they offer, and everything you need to know before placing an order.

AM Party Rentals came recommended to us by the Oakland Aviation Museum (where we hosted our wedding). We worked with Kari, Elizabeth and Geovanny who were attentive, kind and so patient, and very good at maintaining communication with us.
We used their «exact time» set up and breakdown, which was very exact and fast! We’re so happy we had the chance to work with them!

Arnold saved our event! We realized last minute our original linen company gave us the wrong table cloths. I called AM PARTY RENTALS on a Friday night around 10pm knowing they were closed and just trying to leave a message… We needed the table cloths for the next morning.
To my surprise Arnold answered the phone that late! He was able to look through his inventory and email me a quote… And they were ready by 8am the next morning for pick up!
Such great service and I don’t know what we would have done without his willingness to help after hours. Everyone I dealt with had such a helpful — great attitude.
Definitely using this company for all future events!

I have worked with AM Party for all our private family functions and they have been great to work with. From last minute private Christmas dinners (30 people) to my baby’s baptism (120 guests) to her first birthday (200 guests)… They can keep up with my ever changing demands and requests and are great at updating every whim whether over the phone or via e-​mail. Their delivery service is worth paying for and has saved us so much time and effort! We have had deliveries to residential neighborhoods to halls, from busy Mission St. San Francisco to across the Bay Bridge in the East Bay!
Prices and inventory are readily available on their website which include sizes and selections which make it a breeze to list what I want prior to ordering.

Lisa in the office was exceptional! she was a great help, and very professional. She is an asset to the business. When I needed to exchange a few items that were wrong, the warehouse staff were right on it. I was very happy with everyone there, and will definitely use them in the future. Great job!

Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Dulce. Prompt replies and excellent prices. I was very happy with the service and prompt quotes from AM Party Rentals and will definitely use them in the future. They have a great selection of linens and furniture at very competitive prices.

Staff was very helpful. Crew was prompt and professional and the equipment worked well. We had a successful party thanks to AM.
Only downside: Sunday delivery carries an extra fee.

Very happy with the products and service provided by AM party rentals. They are the real deal. Everyone was courteous, helpful, professional, responsive, and flexible, even with last minute changes and additions to our order. They had everything we needed from furniture to linens and even bar mats. Ordering was made easy by the pleasant and knowledgable sales people. Calls were returned promptly and courteously. Delivery crew was prompt, helpful, and on task, even when we asked them to relocate furniture. Couldn’t be happier with their products and service. Would highly recommend them for small or large events.

I used AM Party Rentals for my daughter’s first birthday — group size started at 19 and dropped to 12, but we still needed quite a bit from them — tables, tablecloths, pitchers, silverware, water glasses, wine glasses, umbrella for outdoor seating, ice bucket, etc. Everything was in great shape, delivered on time. Both the people working in the office and the delivery and pickup crews were all wonderful to work with. Patient and friendly. I will most certainly be using them again. Really helped to make the party planning process more simple and on top of that looked really professional and sharp!

Great company to work with — by far the easiest vendor I have ever hired for a party. The pricing is very reasonable, and they were so responsive — they got me a quote within minutes of my call, and when the girl I was working with was out of the office one day, she forwarded my question to someone else and I still got an answer within the hour. I didn’t have to be home for the dropoff or pickup, they just dropped the stuff off in my backyard and picked it up same way. Everything went very smoothly, and the items I rented (banquet & cocktail tables, linens & trash cans) were good quality, clean, and attractive looking. They can easily do really small to really large events. Also, they are open Saturday and Sunday if you have any problems with your items! Great experience overall.

No job is too large or too small for AM Party Rentals. I came in last minute to rent tablecloths and a cake stand. The prices were reasonable and everything was great from start to finish. Thanks!

It’s pretty evident based on my pictures why they have 5 stars. Erika was super helpful I kept changing my order and she was patient with me. My daughter’s party was a HIT! Thank you.

We rented from AM for my sister’s engagement party in our backyard for about 50 — everything was delivered that morning, great dishware and silverware. Pickup was easy. Thanks for the support on such a hectic day!

Ericka and her crew are AMAZING! I had an event, needed lots of tents, tables and chairs. They were on time, they helped us set up and tear down. Not only were they great to work with they worked on a freezing, cold Sunday with smiles on their faces.
I booked them later than I should have and I was constantly changing details and they were extremely understanding and efficient. I will not use another rental service for all for the events our foundation holds. They are the best — both service and pricing.

AM party rentals provided the equipment we needed for a small backyard celebration we held in Half Moon Bay after our wedding. They were incredibly fast and responsive, easy to deal with, and very affordable (especially the delivery rates and pickup on a Sunday).
Susan helped me go back and forth with my various selections and Ericka was more than accommodating when my mom and I popped in unannounced to see some of the rentals and add a few things to our order. Everything was beautiful and in great condition. The biggest hit, however, were the farm tables. We rented 4 of them for 30 people and they were perfect. They were gorgeous and people couldn’t stop talking about how cool they were!
We very impressed by the products, prices, and level or service that AM Party Rentals provided.

Shout out to Ericka C.- she is so patient and wonderful. I was having a ton of trouble picking linens, flatware and china out for my wedding, but after finding Ericka at AMPRs, I was more at ease. I was that indecisive bride who had no idea what she was doing. Ericka helped me out so much that I decided to rent everything from AMPR. We also dealt with Susan and she was also great.
I would highly recommend using AMPR for wedding rentals.

I am in the events world and have been working with Susan for years. I have nothing but the best things to say about the company and her willingness to go the extra mile. From response time to accuracy of delivery they are excellent. Today, my linen company shorted us a quite a few linens for a large event this evening and AM Party Rentals have come to the rescue and are delivering before the event, just in time.
They have delivered flatware, glassware and now linens on the fly and always with a «can do» attitude. They will always have my business. I highly recommend them to anyone who asks.

I LOVE AM Party Rentals! I got married this past April & I found these pictures of columns that I wanted for my ceremony. Most of the columns to rent are those Grecian kind columns. I wanted plain, square columns in 3 different heights. My mom called them to ask & Arnold said they didn’t have them BUT they would personally make some just like the picture I provided. They made them pretty fast & quickly sent me pictures along with measurements. Every bride wants their day to be just as they see it in their mind & AM Party Rentals helped do just this.
They even delivered the columns to the venue the night before, so the florist could start early morning.
Prices are great & the service I received was awesome!
