Our Story

Our cookie kitchen is family owned and operated, and is busy baking and decorating cookies for customers all over the United States. At A Custom Cookie we’re committed to using only the finest and freshest ingredients in everything we make. You can count on us to bring you the very best in baked goods.

Theresa & Rita, best friends and partners at A Custom Cookie began their careers in the catering industry, while working with brides and coordinating weddings they discoved their love for baking while putting together dessert stations for receptions. After years of dreaming they decided to put together Theresa’s skill in baking, and Rita’s background in graphic design and their mutual love of cookies (both baking and eating) to offer these beautifully designed cookies to the world.

With over 20 years of experience in the catering industry as an event coordinator Rita decided to take a more hands on approach and started baking specialty desserts and cookies for her events. Always looking for something unique to bring to her clients Rita discovered personalized cookies and was instantly enchanted with the idea. Armed with her Mother’s classic shortbread cookie recipe and a background in graphic design she decided to channel her enthusiasm and creativity started A Custom Cookie. All designs are original and created for the individual client. Her cookies are fun and unique.
