Company did a great job on my upstairs’ carpet! Individual was very professional and willing to complete everything to my satisfaction… will use again!

I called this place and told them the new house has been empty for 2 years and needed to be cleaned inside out. The owner promised me floor to ceiling cleaning, inside cabinets and everything. I specifically told him i have had bad experience with people not doing what they said they would do and he said they are great and in Angies list this and that. So the day of two little women show up and I think «how are they going to reach the ceiling.» I had told him we have high ceilings. An hour later the owner shows up to look at the house and I tell him about the ceiling and he says we’ll get you taken care of.
I took the workers breakfast and lunch.
AFTER SIX HOURS I come to the house and there are still spider webs on the wall and windows (low on the wall where they could be reached by hand) but the workers were getting ready to go. I called their boss told him my concerns and he told me he would call them. I come back and the floor and carpet people are there now (same company).
And guess what?! Those spider webs were still there, dust on the fireplace (I drew a heart shape in the dust that’s how bad it was), none of the cabinets were cleaned, they didn’t clean the laundry room or even open the pantry to see that it was filthy and needed to be cleaned and mopped as well, showers were still dirty, oven had grease on the sides, fans had dust on them.
So I call the owner and tell him listen after 6 hours we could have had this place spotless ourselves and that this was unacceptable. He comes and looks at the place sends two new people and also says this is a big house (not the biggest he nor I has seen trust me) and says he cleaned a basketball players house and you can’t always Get everything. I told him yes he’s right but our house is not the biggest and they should have gotten the simple things like dust, filthy floor, spider webs, and he promised me clean cabinets inside and out (who wants to put their plates and silverware in dirty cabinets?
So owner says he will give me 15% discount which was a joke to begin with, but I said ok. He also said it was his fault for not sending more experienced people. I told him in the beginning how big the house was and that it needed super deep cleaning.
12+ HOURS OF CLEANING LATER…
(At this point one would think the house would be spotless)
Yes they got the stuff I pointed out, but the next day when we moved in I checked the inside of the cabinets and they were filthy. I sprayed with cleaning product and black stuff started dripping down and when I wiped it off the paper towels were black. I called him and told him about it and that I payed people to clean the house and now I have to go over everything myself because I’m not sure what they actually cleaned, besides the very obvious visible things. He apologized and said hell give me another 15% off total of 30%. Which was ok but I was still upset and now paranoid about what was actually clean.
I wasn’t going to write a review at all because the owner was nice, so were the carpet/​floor cleaning guy and his sister-​in-​law who came to clean, and he said to give him another chance. BUT last night I was in the upstairs bathroom and Noticed how dirty the toilet was and I got really pissed. How do you not clean all the way around the toilet seat? And around the faucet!!! I wiped it off to make sure it wasn’t a permanent stain and it was not!
That bathroom was the first place they cleaned so you would think they weren’t tired or wouldn’t do half a** crappy work at the beginning.
I’ll never use them again. The only reason they get two stars is because the owner was nice so was the staff, but the first two cleaners should be fired because I’m not even sure what they cleaned for 6 hours.
