Walnut Grove Animal Clinic

My first visit was yesterday. My elderly chihuahua was having problems and was highly stressed. Therefore her elderly owner was as well. I called to see if she could be seen. They took me in 10 minutes. I had just spent $ 475 the previous week at another animal hospital and was not satisfied with the service. At Walnut Grove the front desk is so kind while being friendly and professional. I like that there are three vets on staff. I am so grateful for Walnut Grove Animal care. I so wish that we had gone there years ago. I also liked the small statue of St Francis out front. St Francis is patron of Animals. I told the nice young vet how much I liked it being there. He said «I put that especially for my grandmother». Well this grandmother likes it as well! Thank you Walnut Grove Staff!

We just moved to midtown & decided to switch to a closer vet. My husband & I absolutely loved our visit with Dr. Breland… Our Boxer Brody loved her even more! Brody had his annual check up there & we will be bringing the rest of our pets for any future needs. The staff was kind & had us in and out with smiling faces, they even called to check back up on Brody the next day! Great place– great location –awesome boarding! Go see them! Xoxo-​Lori

We highly recommend WGAC because they treat you and your pets like family (seriously). We recently transitioned our pets here and have been very satisfied. Besides vet services, they have boarding and grooming (and a lot more). Also, it’s centrally located, so if you are like me and have to go from work to drop-​off or pick-​up, it’s just a few minutes away.

My older cat went to a different vet, but that’s only because I was new in town and not aware of the lovely Walnut Grove Animal Clinic. When I adopted a new kitten, I wanted to find a vet who really cared, and was not going to treat me like I’m Mrs. Moneybags (Central Animal, I’m looking at you).
The prices here are a lot more reasonable. The wait times are short. And the vets listen. they really listen and give you their time. My cats normally see Dr. Sara. She takes her time explaining treatments or procedures or any advice she wants to dispel. I really appreciate the warm, kind service, and the reminders and offers in the mail.

the waiting room is clean and actually smells plesant. the reception staff are also very friendly and always ask if they give give my puppies treats to make them more comfortable. I have 3 dogs that i have brought here and no complaints. My fiancees fathers dog had heartworms and they offered 2 treatments for her, and call to check on her. they are very good with reminding you about making and going to appointments. the only issue is they are a little pricey BUT both Unilocal and facebook have check in discounts

This office has a very professional, caring, and vibrant staff. Oh, the lobby actually has a pleasant smell! Gotta love that!

This vet was recommended to me by several friends when I was thinking of adopting a dog. I went in to ask them questions, even before I adopted, and it was clear that this was the vet for me. They answered all my questions and offered up anecdotes of their own. They put me at ease.
My dog has had many health problems, chief among them, heartworms. Maybe it’s because I’m in there all the time, or maybe it’s because my doggy is super adorable, but the staff always knows him and recognizes me when I come in. Whoever said they don’t get on a first name basis was trippin’. Everyone asks about my dog and they have a courteous schedule of follow up calls after a visit.
My vet is usually Dr. Slattery, so he’s my favorite, but I’ve had the chance to meet some others too. All the techs are great, and the front office staff is very friendly.
Their boarding fees are also very reasonable.
If you check in on Facebook when you’re paying your bill, you can get a 5% discount! Very helpful if your pet’s procedures are expensive. I’m not sure if the discount can be combined with the check-​in deal on Unilocal,but I am definitely going to ask the next time I’m there. Little discounts can add up, especially if you’re at the vet as often as I am.

The Walnut Grove Animal Clinic has been fantastic from day 1. The veterinarians there are always so precise and thorough. Also, they frequently call to check up on our two dogs and to let us know in advance that checks ups are coming up. I would definitely refer this clinic to anyone searching for one of the best clinics in town. They also board pets if you have to be out of town for an extended amount of time.

After adopting my dog from rescue I setlled on Walnut Grove Animal Clinic after several friends recommended them to me. Friendly and conscientious staff. My 4 yr old Boxer has been going there for almost a year now and I’ve had nothing but positive experiences. I’ve seen 2 of the 5 vet’s they have on staff (Dr. Breland and Dr. Hoefker) and they’ve both been great. Pricing is in line with what you would expect for just about any animal clinic and I’ve never felt they have tried to upsell me on any treatments, vitamins, etc. Would certainly recommend to anyone in the market for a vet.
