If you want Sun Studio memorabilia, then you found your place. It’s a small shop with a small counter to serve snacks and drinks. It keeps you occupied for about 5 minutes before you head off to the tour. Just remember, the tour is every hour on the half hour. If you just missed a tour, you will have to wait one hour. This store will not take away the hour.

The studio is a walk through time, but the customer service at the counter from the blue-​haired female was atrocious. She was chatting with the other employees about clubs they were going to and lunch and didn’t even look us in the face. No Southern charm or even respect. Rude.

The store is pretty standard. They carry Sun studio memorabilia and souvenir for all your rock-​n-​roll loving friends and family members. They sell shirts, caps, mugs, shot glasses, etc with sun studio logo in them. If I am not mistaken, they have vinyl records of Sun studio releases. The price are pretty reasonable for a touristy store. The store is located at the entrance of the Sun studio and is the assembly place for the tour– nice marketing strategy.

Ever wanted to get an some memorabilia of the old Stax records or the legendary Sun Studios trinkets such as Elvis Glasses, old recordings of Ray Charles or the Bar Kays. Also excellent source of civil rights T– Shirts from the 1960’s.
Even if you want a Ray Charles shot glass or an Sun Studios Mug this is the place you can get it.
