One of the best parts of our store is that our staff can help you with anything you need. We have different people with expertise on bourbons, vodkas, beer, sweet wines, high end wines, and everything in between.

We’re located at the intersection of Hacks Cross and Winchester, behind the Walgreens and connected to Costco, but there’s no membership required. Come pick up a bottle (or a case) today!

History

Established in 2000.

Southwind Wine & Spirits was founded in the year 2000 by Roy «Doc» Page, a well beloved local surgical oncologist. He had no experience in the wine & spirits business, but saw an opportunity at a great location and took advantage of it. Every time he came in the store, he’d make sure to pat the employees on the back and thank them for doing a good job. Coming from someone who spent 50+ years of his life working long hours at a job he loved, that meant a lot. Prior to his passing, he passed the store down to his children, Mark, Lisa, and Roy Page II. They have continued to grow Southwind into one of the biggest wine & spirits stores in Memphis, while still employing a small family business mentality by constantly giving back to the community, the customers, and the employees.
