Sanders Barber & Style Shop

We are a military family new to Memphis. My husband needed to find a barber, but not just any barber. After reading the reviews on Unilocal we decided to give Sanders Barber & Style Shop a try and, boy, are we glad we did!
George gave my husband a great haircut! George and Paul were also a joy to talk to. Very friendly and welcoming. They treat their customers like old friends. We will definitely be coming back. Happy that my husband now has a regular barber in town. Five stars. They deserve it!
The barber shop is on the first level of the office building on 4515 Poplar Avenue. Parking is easy. You open the front door of the main building and you’ll see the shop to the right. We made an appointment so my guess is call ahead to make sure they have availability.

George was delightful. The place is inside the bank corridor. For an out of towner or (like me) someone that just moved here, it’s a bit tough to find but once you’re there, it’s an all around great experience!!! Highly recommend!

George Perry does a great job cutting hair. This was my second time and I didn’t even need to tell him how I wanted it cut. He remembered and did a great job. $ 16 for a haircut — cash only.
Give them a try. Walk ins are welcome but if you’re in a hurry, call first.

Paul is a very nice guy and does a good job cutting what’s left of my hair. Not a fancy salon but you can get in and out fast with a good cut at a reasonable price!
