After reading some of the reviews about the lunch buffet, I couldn’t wait to try this place. So I went by to check out the lunch. It was standard for Indian. However, there was nothing that stood out to me. Nothing I wanted to go back for seconds for. Needless to say I was very disappointed. There were people at only 2 other tables besides mine. And the price of the lunch buffet was very disappointing compared to other Indian restaurants around the city. I will stick to India Palace and Bombay House.

Went to Saffron recently with a group for a fix prix dinner. The menu was representative of Indian cuisine, and everything was very good. Archie and his team were very attentive, and ensured that all requests were met immediately. The overall experience was excellent, and I’m looking forward to our next visit.

The food is beyond awesome. I love getting the fresh bread delivered to the table and not sitting on a buffet getting cold. The buffet is beautiful and the food is presented very well. The wait staff is very accommodating. Sit Down, order your bread of choice and enjoy the appetizer while your FRESH bread is baking. Ok, now the food… I remember when my coworker suggested I try Indian food. I was polite and thought I would go through a drive thru on the way home. I WASHOOKED. This is the BEST Ethnic food in the MidSouth hands down. Fresh, fast, and delish!!! Don’t miss this place. I hope it’s here for many years to come.

Went for buffet a couple of times and it was decent with similar dishes so not sure if they rotate the items on the buffet or not. Has nice ambience for an Indian restaurant in Memphis and if you are looking for north Indian food then probably the place to go! Haven’t tried a la carte yet but what I noticed was the prices were pretty steep especially compared to other Indian restaurants close by so will think twice before giving it a try. P. s. — The prices of the entrees definitely are along the lines of what you will see in more upscale Indian restaurants which Saffron definitely isn’t unfortunately!

This review is for the lunch buffet. Our group enjoyed our lunch of both Veg and non-Veg and dessert with freshly made Naan, $ 12 Especially enjoyed the Curry Lamb, Tandoori Chicken, and Dal Makhani(Buttery Lentils). Items rotate daily. Can recommend the Mango Lassi drink, extra cost. Décor is simple and plain. Look forward to coming back when Lamb Vindaloo is featured, a personal favorite.

The lunch buffet is straight gains. I prefer south Indian food but this place offers the best north Indian food in Memphis. The lunch buffet M-Th offers 3 non veg, 3 – 4 veg, and 1 dessert for $ 12. On Fridays the lunch buffet is $ 2 more but has 4 non veg, 4 veg, and 2 desserts to offer. The lunch buffets also come with naan and this place is much better than curry bowl(the other local Indian buffet I am familiar with)

Best Indian cuisine I’ve had in a long time, we had the chicken tikka masala and the chicken saagwala, naan bread and basmati rice. All was amazing.
