Rick’s Powder Coating And Customs

I had a set of motorcycle wheels powder coated, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They turned out better than I could’ve imagined. I’ll definitely be a return customer.

Bought a set of rims in LA-​LA land and had them shipped here for powder coating. Gloss black came out great and they were done quickly. Unfortunately they were the wrong rims. But, Rick contacted me and handled everything in a professional and friendly manner, no complaints here.
I’m looking at a couple other things which will wind up here getting coated again.

My dad and brother are really into cars and insisted I get my rims powder coated black on my new car. So finally I let them take my car for 3 – 4 days to get them painted. I was a little skeptical on where to take them… Rick painted my dad’s racecar and I really didn’t have much say on where they were headed anyways.
Finally on a Wednesday afternoon I was dragged along to pick out the color black I wanted… Who knew their were so many options? Pulling up to Rick’s I went from excited to a little concerned. There are metal objects everywhere waiting to be powder coated… Neon painted lawn furniture covers what you can see inside the shop. We get into the office to pick out the color and you barely stand in the office because there is so much junk. I just had to hold my tongue and trust my dad on this one…
I came home Friday after driving my dad’s bus of a vehicle for 2 days and my flat black rims were already back on my car and it was ready to rumble! They did a fabulous job. I definitely was surprised by the turnout! Like everyone says… You can’t judge a book by its cover!
