Quality Inn

I was a bit skeptical when booking because of certain reviews, but I must say… my two day stay was more than I could hope for. My room was clean, the features were pretty updated, the breakfast was plentiful and fresh, the front doorman was courteous even on our late night check in, and the location was ideal for Minglewood Hall and downtown access. I highly recommend for the price!

For the price it wasn’t a bad stay. Heard lots of people talking about little problems with their room (fridge not working, etc.) But had no problems with mine. Short drive to sun records and Beale st. So that was a plus

We stayed at this hotel on a trip cross country. We had a cat with us, so we needed a pet friendly hotel. It seems like this property might be headed for an upgrade, not sure. Wifi never worked. Our room was just dirty. I slept in my sleeping bag I brought because the linens felt filthy. I moved the night stand next to the bed to plug in my phone only to find a pile of toenail clippings and hair.
not my first choice for Memphis.

Upon arriving the front counter person was arguing with two teenagers and wasn’t doing her job to help anyone. When I finally got help she seemed disoriented. I had to repeat my information several times. Once we go to the room the carpet was dirty, it had a funny smell and the lights weren’t all working. There were plugs that didn’t work and we had to find out that the light switch that didn’t work actually controlled the TV power. When we called the front desk to find out that info we were told «We have a situation down here and we have to call you back. They never did but I found out they ended up calling the police on the two kids. It was not a relaxing stay at all. There was ruckus in the parking lot, noisy guest and a helicopter landing pad that had helicopters landing throughout the night. That was really disturbing. Lastly they offer a «breakfast» but it’s mostly waffles that you have to make, cold cereal, fake sausage and powered eggs. Not very tasty. That was my first and last stay sorry. I can’t do it. Seriously this place needs to be torn down. Health inspector much?

Absolutely disgusting, filthy exterior, filthy interior. Booked online, when we arrived we could tell from the parking lot it was a mistake.
Checked in, walked up to the room, along the way the place was filthy, the concrete walk ways were in disrepair, garbage was blowing around.
We opened the door to a stale moldy odor, found dead bugs on the floor and some type of odd wrappers near the bed. Looked in the bathroom and noticed the toilet wasn’t even bolted to the floor.
Went downstairs to tell them we would NOT be staying, after they buzzed us through the security door, yeah it’s that kind of area, the security guard said «Room dirty?» I said yes it was, he just mumbled something about bad housekeepers.
I told the guy behind the desk we couldn’t stay in the dirty room, he was not at all surprised, didnt apologize, just had me sign sign a paper saying they wouldn’t be charging us.
Avoid this place at all costs. I tried to leave NO stats for the review, but that’s not an option.

Walked in at 930 (night shift guy) and was given a key to a «non smoking room» that literally smelled like an ashtray the moment I opened the door. Instead of giving me a different room, dude gives me a can of smoke odor spray after saying there’s no other hotel room availability when there’s plenty of parking spaces available! Seriously dude?! So I go to spray the place and find the toilet seat MISSING! I mean it wasn’t as big of a deal to me but my mother kinda needs a seat, don’t you think? So as I was returning the spray I told him about the toilet seat and ‘magically’ another room opened up. He said he didn’t give it to us originally because it was just one king bed and didn’t know if we were ok with it. Just ask dude! Opened the door and there were 2 queens which is what I asked for originally. *facepalm* dude needs to learn what beds are where. I’m giving this 2 stars because he actually gave us the next room that had no smoke smell and a toilet seat. Oh and I joined Unilocal just so I could write this horrible review. It’s that bad.

I had to double check we had a non-​smoking room. It stinksto high heaven. The room is very well appointed & in the morning when I have breakfast I may give it one more star but right now, I can’t sleep coz it smells like an ashtray.

Place was filthy and wreaked of smoke. Floors were disgusting. Front desk manager Corey was an a-​hole.

NASTY. Very ironic name, it should be called No Quality Inn. Well first of all my family and I went through 3 rooms before we got one we could stay in. The first smelled like smoke (non smoking room) and the second already had someone staying in it. Within a few minutes of being in the room we settled on, we realized it was a dump. Hairs everywhere! On the bed, on the ‘clean’ towels, even on the coffee maker. Dirty pillows. No soap. No toilet paper. Not enough towels. THERE WAS PEE ON THE TOILET. Everywhere was filthy, not enough lights, minimal breakfast. h

Very sweet girl at the counter but the room smelled intensely of urine and was frankly a little scary. Stayed about 7 minutes and left for a cleaner hotel.
Avoid for your own personal wellbeing.

Okay here’s the thing. We were in a jam for a hotel and got this place. Ended up getting a smoking room and thy knew we wanted non but had none left. They took the time to clean up the room and make it smell good. Very good customer service. As for the hotel it’s below average but it’s a fine hotel if your in a bind. I wouldn’t say stay here but I’m not disappointed in the value and how they treated us. It’s a fine place to get a good nights sleep and shower up. 2 – 3 stars for this place and it’s value.

Has a fresh coat of paint but that doesn’t hide the fact that it needs a deep cleaning. Breakfast area is small and congested but the food was ok. Staff was pleasant. OK for what we paid.

Dirty pool, bad breakfast, very stiff bed. However the walls don’t pass sounds and the air conditioning works.
