Pro Tech is a securities firm that patrols our subdivision. I do feel safer because they are a presence in the neighborhood at all hours. They offer a variety of services for people who are out of town, for people who have parties with cars parked on the street, and for people who are fearful of arriving at home late at night by themselves.
My only complaint is that they don’t market aggressively in our neighborhood, to encourage more people to subscribe to the service. My complaint is not just the free-​rider problem; the problem with fewer subscribers is that we obtain get the number of patrol hours that a larger customer base would justify. The security staff is very nice and helpful.
