Pop-A-Lock of Memphis

When you are locked INTO your home, time is of the essence. The folks at Pop a Lock did not disappoint. Although the problem was difficult, they put additional resources on the job and had it resolved in a very reasonable time. Moreover, I thought the price charged was very fair for an emergency call on the Sunday of a holiday weekend! I would not hesitate to make Pop a Lock my first call the next time I need a locksmith.

My mother locked herself out of the house on a Sunday because she was distracted over my father being in the hospital. Since they live close to Bartlett I initially called a Bartlett locksmith. The technician took three times longer to arrive than he was supposed to, wanted more than three times the money I was quoted over the phone, and arrived in a van marked with the name of a different company than the one I’d called. In disgust I sent that tech away and called Pop-​a-​Lock.
I was quoted a flat rate of $ 75 and an ETA of 25 – 30 minutes. The tech arrived promptly in 30 minutes, his car and clothes were marked Pop-​a-​Lock so I knew he was the right guy, and he asked for the same fee I was quoted over the phone. Then he performed the job, was paid, and left. It took a fraction of the time we waited for the other company.

I called Pop A Lock to fix the ignition of my Honda Civic. The dealer wanted over $ 900 to repair and pop a lock charged less than half of that. They came to me and I was driving my car in no time. Great professional service.

Not reliable. I called at 630 pm on a Friday to have locks changed at my house. Was told a technician would call me back within the hour. After 90 min of no response I called back and a girl named Catherine said she was looking into it. She kept me on hold for a full 20 minutes and never picked up again. After 20 min I hang up and call again and get a third person who tells me that the locksmith went off duty at 6pm and there was no one to help me. She apologized and said she would file a complaint, but I had 2 hours of my time completely wasted by these people. Do Not Waste Your Time With Them.

Wish I called Pop-​A-​Lock first! No guessing/​haggling on price and fast service! Miles came quick and was friendly. Pop-​a-​lock will be saved in my phone and highly recommend! (DO NOT call 24locksmithing! $ 15 service fee and price starts at $ 35, but he came out and wanted $ 160 to get into one dead bolt, then said he could take $ 130, then wanted to know what I was willing to pay. Lost $ 15 for not reading reviews.) Thanks Miles, for working with an honest company!

How do I describe pop a lock? Worthless. Completely worthless. *4 phone calls*, over 90 minutes later and not ONE person or technician calls me back. This is after my 4 calls to «central office» where they told me someone would be contacting me shortly. Their initial estimated time? 30 minutes. I don’t think so. Do not use them. They are unreliable.

Pop-​A-​Lock is going to piss you off in a good way. Had to call them before work 1 day earlier this year. Someone was at my house in under 30 minutes which is very nice. When arriving at my house it did not take 2 minutes for the guy to unlock my car. Maybe not even 1 minute. Charging around 45 – 60 bucks you feel like you have completly wasted your money. This is a bitter sweet experience. Having your car unlocked so fast but spending that kind of money for a 2 minute job is so bitter sweet. I actually beat myself up over this although I was glad to have my car unlocked so quick. 5 star for these guys.
