Pleasant View Pet Resort

I hope that other responsible, caring pet owners see this review before taking their dog to pleasant view. to start off this horrible experience, the facility advertised in the pictures is NOT where the dogs are kept. the back building that smells like one giant piece of dog crap outfitted with small kennels is where they stay.
we have two large lab mixes that need to be taken outside for a walk at least twice a day. we were expecting to pay extra for the play time we thought they’d received during their five day stay. when we picked the pups up we noticed we weren’t charged and thought it odd. we soon realized the dogs had been in a cage the whole time they were there. then we noticed they were extremely dehydrated and hadn’t been taken out to use the bathroom all day (we picked them up at 4 pm). their bedding was still packed and so were their toys. the reason we sent our personal items was to ensure the dogs wouldn’t get nervous and lick/​bite wounds from feeling anxious. one of our dogs has open wounds on his front legs and all over his mouth.
how hard is it to make sure a dog is comfortable when you get paid a good chunk of money just to be responsible and caring? they didn’t even mention the bites.
I wish I could give a lower rating, but this scathing review and my visit to the facility in the coming days should suffice.
