Outdoors Inc has been outfitting human powered recreation since 1974. We offer outdoor gear for hiking, backpacking, camping, paddling, climbing, skiing, snowboarding, and biking. We also, have a full service bike shop for all your bike needs.

Whether you need to get fitted for a backpack, or you need an extensive tune-​up, we have got you covered with our knowledgeable staff and extensive product lines.

Hello outdoors enthusiasts! My name is Eric and I’ve worked for Outdoors, Inc a couple times for a combined 2 ½ years. I have been interested in outdoors adventures since I was about 15 and have tried to involve myself in as many activities in as many places as possible. I have taught rock climbing, been skiing, sea kayaking, canoeing, whitewater kayaking, caving, hang gliding, done trail work in Yellowstone and Alaska and have been backpacking and camping for up to a month from Texas to Alaska and California to North Carolina.

While I have plenty of stories and am always looking to develop more what I enjoy most about working at Outdoors is hearing the stories about trips others are about to go on or have been on in the past. If you have any questions I look forward to answering them, and should you have any neat stories I am all ears. I look forward to seeing you at our Poplar location soon!
