History

Established in 2007.

The Mollie Fontaine Lounge was my private home from 1987 till 1994, when we moved out and converted the home into a fine dining restaurant in 1996. After 10 years i decided I wanted to change the concept so In 2007 I decided to change the concept to a lounge with small plates and we closed for 3 months to renovate the entire home into a lounge. I removed all the tables and chairs and spent months purchasing and recovering all the hip old furniture– The Mollie Fontaine Lounge is on the National Historic Register of Victorian homes– We are located in Victorian Village, an area of Memphis that use to be called Millionaire’s Row.
