Jim Keras Chevrolet

I purchased a 1 year old, certified pre owned Chevy Silverado pickup truck with 12,000 miles from Jim Keras Chevrolet. About 2 weeks later, I was installing nerf bars when I noticed that the undercoating had peeled off the frame in numerous areas. These areas were covered in rust. After taking the truck to another dealership, I was told that GM issued a technical service bulletin for this problem a while back and it was covered under warranty. The problem requires the rust to be removed and a new coating to be reapplied to the frame, which may require removal of the whole cab and bed from the frame. I would expect a CERTIFIED used truck to have this problem taken care of BEFORE it was resold. Now I am without my truck for several days while it is being repaired.
Also, when I purchased the truck, I wasn’t told that the truck only had one key and one keyless remote, until after the purchase was complete. At first, they didn’t want to do anything about it and it was going to cost me $ 232 plus tax to buy another one. After several days of calling and going back to the dealership to complain about it, the best they would do is give me 2 left over $ 25 gift cards from customer appreciation day and fill my tank with gas. It still cost me well over $ 100 out of pocket to get the second key and remote. The fact that the truck only had one key and one remote should have been stated on the front end. I will never buy anything from here again!

One of the good dealership that actually honors their advertisement. Too many times the ads are not true for other dealerships. Not here. When they say 10k off, they mean 10k off for that exact car shown on TV.
Customer service is also great. George took really good care of us, and he does not pressure you to buy a car.

Had an issue with my rental, brought it into Jim Keras. They fixed it quickly, so I can visit my clients without any (great) impact to my work week. I ran into Marcus who took time out of his day to show me around and explained what a quality organization they are. If I lived here, this would be my dealership of choice.

We have always received excellent service from Jim Keras! Tim in the service department was extremely helpful in getting tires for my husbands corvette in a timely manner. Everyone has always been very friendly and helpful! I have referred many people to Jim Keras Chevrolet, Nissan and Subaru!

I have bought two cars from Jim Keras. I go there for all my service. They have great cars and there sales men will work with you. I was buying my car with insurance help and they worked with me through the whole process. I was more than just my credit score. They treat everyone equal. I am young and so some car places try to take advantage of me but not Jim Keras. Steve in the shop is great. Genome the salesman is awesome.

The salesperson Marcus was rude and not helpful. They are not honest and nor are they helpful to customers that do what to buy car. My family had to return a car that had a lot of issues and were going to get another car from them. Marcus then changed the original deal and wanted a 100 more dollars a month for the payment, and then said that for must people 100 isn’t that big of a deal. It was rude and ugly towards people on a budget. Will never go back!!!

Horrible service. They went out of their way to be rude and confrontational. Slimy and crude even by car dealership standards. Prices are also not competitive with other dealers in the region. And this was my experience at the stage of getting a quote. I can only imagine the nightmare they are to deal with if you go further in the buying process.

Never a negative experience and they even wash your car for free after services.

Went back home… I had a mechanic replace a drive belt that Keras was gonna charge me $ 258.00 to replace… they charged me only $ 50.00…told me they would have driven the 135 miles and towed me back to Union City to fix my Burb for less that what they charged me… Shame on Chevrolet… they make their automobiles hard to repair… so the dealerships can make a killing… I’ll take my new mechanic up on the offer if I ever get stuck in Memphis again
