Indian Discount Grocery

Great Indian style appetizers. The Walmart is now closed and the owners are moving the store. I love to cook Indian food and this is my favorite place to shop.

I used to shop here but when the Indian lady who used to set up a little booth at the back of this store left (she did threading and some facial services), I too, stopped shopping here.
It’s a pretty big store compared to the other Indian groceries around town. It’s in a questionable part of Memphis… but the ‘questionable characters’ probably gallivant around Walmart around the corner more than here… you get no smiles nor recognition from the owner even if you shop a gazillion times here… but you’d probably find everything you need (and more) if you’re trying to make an Indian dish… not a bad place to burn some time (and a small amount of money) and try some new snacks :) …but don’t expect smiles or service — you’d be disappointed lol!
