An independent bookstore in the days of domination by Amazon and Barnes and Noble always gets five stars since I dislike chain stores.
This store is right across the parking lot from St. Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral and caters to Episcopalians and other Christians in the books and other merchandise they carry. I have to preface this review with the disclaimer that I am a Presbyterian Minister (Teaching Elder) and I love books. This book store has a nice selection of books, they even have a nice selection, albeit only one 6 foot shelf, of used books. The store is nicely laid out and they also have a nice selection of jewelry, gifts, cards, and even some music cds.
The staff was very helpful and they give a discount to clergy.
I would recommend this books store to anyone looking for books or Christian gifts.
