History

Established in 1973.

The owner of diVa colour Placed 9^th in the world representing the USA for hair cutting in Paris France 3 months out of beauty school. It was at this time 30 years ago Ted Cortese began developing ways to produce natural hair color. Ted helped in the research and development of two color lines used by master colorist all over the world. Women from 17 states, France and England come to Ted at diVa colour studio for the most natural hair color found anywhere. At diVa it’s all about you.

Business Owner

Ted Cortese who became a hair stylist because he thought all hair stylist worked half a week and spent the rest on boat docks. The two stylist he met at 12 and 14 did just that .He did not realize their wives were working there brains out back at their salons so they could do that. At 19 Ted entered hair school and suprized himself and everyone around him. He was a gifted progity. With in 3 months after graduation of school Ted won first place in Memphis then in Tenn. then in the nation for hair cutting. Ted then represented the USA in Paris France and placed 9^th in the world. At the young age of 20 he began to put hes focus on natural hair coloring. Now women come from 17 states, France and England to Ted for the finest most natural hair color to be found anywhere. At diVa colour studio It’s all about you.
