Love, love, love this place! Perfect spot to pick up a special treat and even the pickiest of eaters can find something they like. I love going in for stocking stuffers, Easter basket treats, or even a truffle for myself. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
Don’t miss out on the open house around the holidays and in the spring at the Pleasant View location. You can take a tour of the candy kitchen and have samples as you go along.

Went in for the first time after Godiva closed down. Wish I would have went sooner because they have a HUGE collection of hand made candies! Like 5 cases! I was blown away by all the chocolate varieties ! With restraint my husband and I got a handful of items including barks, truffles and nut clusters. everything was delicious! They also have pre/​packaged boxes and bags you can buy.

Chocolates were okay, but don’t deserve the $ 3.25 a piece price tag. Outer shell is really hard, which is not ideal. I wouldn’t go back. If you want treats, skip this place and hit up Muddy’s Bake Shop for cupcakes instead.

I LOVE THIS PLACE.
I’m not huge into sweets, but going into this store totally gives you that «kid in a candy store» feeling.
I went in to buy some Cherry Cordials and Turtles. I walked out with those, a bunch of truffles (which were absolute chocolatey heaven), and a giant chocolate turkey (total hit at Thanksgiving).
One gem that I will definitely be investing in next holiday season is one of their gingerbread creations. They make houses of all sizes and even had this amazing carousel thing that was awesome.
If you EVER need candy of any kind, this is the place to go. The quality of the service and product is second to none.

When I think of Dinstuhls, I think of one thing: Chocolate Covered Strawberries. Wow — are they ever good.
For many years now, for Easter, Mother’s Day or my Mom’s birthday, I’ve stopped in Dinstuhls and picked up a box for her. It’s her favorite treat. Of course, I should probably get two boxes, because by the time they get to her, several strawberries always seem to be missing. I know — I’m a bad daughter. But I can’t help it. They’re just so good!

This is my favorite candy company in Memphis. It’s a quaint little store, with more than one location, selling a variety of your basic chocolates and fruity candies. Try their chocolate-​covered strawberries. While very pricey, they can be found for a fraction of the price if they’ve made too many — just remember to eat them quickly (no problem). I like going there for their jelly fruit slices — they’re slightly more expensive than other places that I’ve had them, but they taste fresher.
