Soooo it is an adult store… and full disclosure, I was here to buy things for a party.
Anyways, while this is in a part of town I don’t frequent much, I never really felt «unsafe,» more like a 7^th grader giggling in sex ed. But I am a grown woman and so I marched right up to the desk to talk to the lady. And they are SO nice and very professional. Not quite what you expect from a store like this in Memphis. I mean, LA or NYC or Vegas you might as well be in a shoe store talking about the difference between Jimmy Choos and Louboutins but Memphis… yeah, I was nervous… but as it turns out, with no reason to be.
They have tons of sexy lingerie as well as condoms and sex (y) toys. And if you’re throwing a bachelorette party, they have tons and tons of things for you to mortify the bachelorette with; i.e. coupons, games, you name it.
I’ll totally admit my curiosity so I browsed the isles… and they have things I didn’t know existed. I’ll just leave it at that.
Bottom line, quite the selection and lots of sales! I’m pretty impressed (?) Memphis has a store like this.

Christal’s definitely falls into the not-​a-​creepy-​adult-​bookstore category.
It’s a colorful array of neatly displayed adult toys, current popular games and books, the usual cheapy lingerie, with a good deal on underoos, 4/​$ 20.
You can find some gear that could double as a Halloween costume.
They also sell Coochy cream. The best shaving cream on Earth. Ladies, if will change your life.
